You can spend your days kayaking, fishing and enjoying the view! If you keep your eyes peeled you may see blue heron’s, bald eagles, and if you’re quite the beaver may swim by to say hello!
There are two RV back in options. The top spot has narrow access with a 6 foot elevation change but beautiful lake views. The lower spot is level with the access road. If you aren’t confident backing your trailer in this may not be the spot for you. We also welcome tent and van campers! There are two fire rings, a picnic table, 4 chairs, and an outhouse. The path down to the lake is rocky and the property is situated on the end of the lake with the lily pads and beaver dens…. its beautiful but not the best swimming spot! If you want to take a dip in the lake the public boat launch is less than a half mile down the road, or you can take your kayaks out on the lake! Its the perfect kayak lake since motor boats are not allowed. If you have an electric boat motor you are more than welcome to use it. There are other homes surrounding the lake, but its nicely treed and feels like you’re out in the forest.

Beautiful and spacious
The view of the lake was absolutely beautiful, and the amount of space you have is amazing! The outhouse was not the cleanest, but still useable. There are a lot of houses nearby, so expect lots of sound at night, but overall our stay was very pleasant! We saw a doe across the lake, and a heron and a hawk directly above our site multiple times, it was amazing :)
Beaver bay campsite
The land is amazing to start with and has some awesome views of the water and is nestled well into the trees and surrounding landscape. Stephen did a great job of thinking of the little things also. There are 5-6 chairs set around one of the two fire rings, a full 5 gallon water reservoir with dish soap for cleaning up dishes, two locations for travel trailers in which will accommodate large trailers, 30 and 50 amp RV hookups including 110 power at both sites, over head string lights that illuminate the campsite, a brand new outhouse and a water hose located on site as well (can’t remember if it was potable or not). Beautiful site off of a county backroad that may have had 9-10 cars travel by in an hours time. Wildlife and waterfowl abound, deer, turkies. We loved it and have already recommended to friends and family and plan to book again.
Stephen is a wonderful host and was quick to address the very minor issue we had upon arrival which was really just from the people who stayed before us. He went above and beyond and helped my girlfriend park her RV when she found the grade challenging. The parcel is beautiful and well maintained and we made wonderful memories here two weekends in a row. We will be back for our next staycation! Thanks Stephen for another great weekend!
Great camp spot
The camp site was set a little bit higher overlooking some of the lake. Stephen’s site had a picnic table (no chairs that reach the table) but it worked great to set food out on. He had left roasting sticks which was a nice touch. And we loved the fire pit and putting the lights on at night. We also rented in our truck but anyone on the ground beware it’s mostly gravel floor. Super fun time. Highly recommend.
Beautiful spot! Well kept, and we felt safe there. It was the perfect location to get to Silverwood theme park (15-20 mins) and have relaxing time as well. The birds start singing at 5 am in July, but they are absolutely beautiful to watch. Bring binoculars! We spotted a beautiful blue herring and a turtle enjoying the lake. Loved the outhouse, it’s better than any outhouse I have ever used, clean, has a water flush and has a light inside. My daughter and I slept in a tent, the ground is hard so bring a hammer for your tent stakes.
There are some houses around but the people that we did see are friendly. There was even a little cat that stopped by to say hi.
