Enjoy comfort and luxury glamping in canvas bell tents on a working horse ranch. With exceptional ocean views and lush green pastures, your stay will be one to remember.

This listing is for a 16’ Stargazer Bell Tents sitting atop a wooden platform nestled in a grove of Hale Koa Trees. On a clear night you can stargaze through the tents skylights. And the view out the front of your tent is of green pastures, horses and the ocean. Your tent is fully furnished with all of the same comforts you would have at home. Queen sized bed with linens, nightstands, seating, clothing storage, twinkle lights. (Duracell Generator on request for an add-on).

Each tent has one queen sized bed to accommodate 2 people. If you would like to add additional guests to stay in your bell tent there is a $20 for each additional guest. This fee will include a cot/futon with bedding and pillow per person.

A short walk will take you to the outdoor common area. A shared space to prepare your meals, meet new people all while enjoying a picturesque view of Haleakala in the distance. We provide a fully functioning kitchen for cooking your own meals; stovetop, grill, refrigerator, electricity and seating with a view. Just past the kitchen is a outdoor shower and bathroom. This is also a shared common area.

Wake up and pick fruit from the mango, guava, papaya and banana trees all around. Vegetables from the garden are waiting to be harvested to supplement your dinner.

Stay in North Kohala, the northern tip of the Big Island of Hawaii, and sleep in peace away from the hustle and bustle of the resorts and towns. Kohala is a small community of quaint cottages, mom and pop restaurants, fun locally made wares and plenty of adventure. If you’re looking for even more things to do, the Haven is only a 25 minute drive from anything you could want. Scenic drives over the Kohala Mountain Road will take you to the charming ranch town of Kamuela (also known as Waimea). This ranching town has Farmers Markets, local coffee shops, antiques, shopping, horse back riding, rodeo and some of the best restaurants on the island. Leaving Hawi and heading down the Kohala Coast will take you to luxury resorts, shopping, award winning restaurants, white sand beaches, snorkeling, helicopter rides, deep sea fishing, surfing, paddling; the list goes on and on!

So come relax at the Haven at Hawi Nani and use it as your home base to explore everything the Big Island has to offer.

What an amazing experience. The property is amazing and you were welcomed like you were part of the family. The Yurts are well thought out and extremely comfortable. We stayed with our two and five year olds and weren't sure how they would do, but slept well in their cots after a long evening feeding the goats and making smores. We enjoyed watching the sunrise in the morning drinking our coffee on the large pasture area and then made breakfast in the outdoor kitchen with veggies from the garden and fresh eggs. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back and who we can bring with us to enjoy the experience. We stayed home night, but next time are hoping to do at least two!
