We had a great stay! We booked it at the last minute and really appreciate how accommodating Kelly was. We loved the dogs and the outdoor showers and felt very safe and secure in our tent out under the Macadamia Nut Trees! We hope to be back again someday!

This place exceeded our expectations -- a beautiful and relaxing camping experience in a private macadamia orchard. We stayed two nights, and our favorite things any the place were:
1. The dogs: Xander, Astana, and Huckleberry are so sweet and definitely made the experience for us. We gave them lots of scratchies.
2. The outdoor shower: spacious and luxurious, especially after a long day of snorkeling/hiking.
3. Camping in a mac orchard: never done that before! Fyi, we didn't put our tent directly under the trees (the nuts make quite a thump when they fall!), which worked well. The LED tiki lights were also great for lighting the way from the main house back to your tent.

Final note: the itinerary information says to get drinking water from the fridge in the main house, but Kelly told us that all the water is potable, so you can fill up wherever.

Awesome stay, would love to return if our travels bring us back to the Big Island. :)

Cheesy name but great spot. Feels like your own private campsite in a macadamia grove, with picnic table, hot shower, and access to an outlet to charge your phone.

This site is outstanding. The campsites are mown and clean and clearly marked. The outside showers are excellent and one in particular will bring me back to this place again and again. The owner was very kind and her very large, horse sized dogs are fantastic guards all night long.

This was fantastic! We had a great time! My kids loved having the dogs around and the camping was beyond my expectations. We were able to camp deep in the trees and the stars at night were unreal. Be sure to upgrade to the big tent you can add to your package. I'm not sure we'll be able to go back to our smaller tent after that 😅 Kelly was an amazing host, friendly, and helpful. We will definitely come back!

Now I know firsthand this campsite is named Big Island best. Kelly created us at the site and gave us a tour of the necessities, even though we were there for a short stay. She was also gracious enough to allow us time in the pool, which my kids enjoyed even though it was not ideal pool weather (overcast and windy). Definitely recommend this campsite. Very friendly guard dogs that patrol the property at night.

Loved camping here. Kelly was super welcoming and showed us around the property, lots of options for setting up camp. Mac-nut trees, mango trees, a avocado, banana, passion fruit, papaya...you’re literally camping in the middle of a tropical garden. Loved picking fresh mangos for breakfast!
The showers and bathrooms were perfect, and the pool was a nice bonus. The 3 HUGE dogs were super friendly and came to hang out with us at camp. We have a 2yr old and they were all very gentle with her. Great stay when you’re on the island!
