We are far away from most everything. Cell Phone coverage is poor to none, no internet, we are 30 min to closest gas, restaurant and grocery store. We recommend stocking up before you arrive.  We do have hiking trails, OHV trails, a stocked lake for fishing and swimming on the property.

The place was an old zoo.  You can see few of the cages that are still there.

We are NOT a campground, RV park, Wedding venue or OHV park.  This is our home and we are happy to share it with you.

We are very dog friendly.  We actually Foster dogs for the local shelter.  This is a place you can let your friendly dogs off leash to run.  Please pick up after your pets.

The shelter was clean and dry. The windows are screened and have inner and outer heavy waterproof curtains which can be opened or closed for privacy and insulation. The lights and usb charging worked well. The shelter is situated at the end of the RV and Tent camping areas a short walk from the bathroom/shower. It's right beside the creek which is beautiful to see and listen to as you fall asleep. The inflatable pull out couch held air well through the night. Overall this is a great spot right by the creek for those who don't own or don't want to bother with a camper/rv/tent.

Nearby stage and picnic area.View of creek from the shelter's back porch. Outback Shelter with tarp/curtains down.
