Ohoopee River - Reidsville, GA
Campsite was flooded, lost out $25
We had no idea it had been raining in the previous days in Georgia as we live quite a few hours drive elsewhere and it was clear skies on our travel day. Well it was flooded, we couldn’t even access the campsite. The road was under at least a few feet of water so we weren’t going to even try. We asked for a refund because we paid for a campsite and didn’t get one in exchange. Ryan has yet to refund us and on top of that, we were scrambling to find another place to stay for the evening. Luckily we found another campsite an hour away with just enough sunlight to set up camp. The whole experience was quite frustrating. I’m sure the camp site is lovely. I suggest you check the previous days weather as Ryan said he doesn’t live near there and had no idea it was flooded.

Ohoopee River Camp Site
River Fun!
We camped with a tent, 2 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs! Plenty of room to run and play and a beautiful river right up the trail. It was a really awesome experience being from FL! Ryan was amazing about communication and helped us through the entire process! Will use hipcamp again and highly recommend this property!

Really nice tent camping spot, rural, secluded and very easy access to the river. Google maps took us right to the pin. Very easy to find. Great camp experience!
