Our 2-acre pocket of paradise is situated on the pristine Rock Creek, just a few miles upstream from the famous Lula Lake Land Trust core preserve. You'll enjoy a private wooded oasis where you can splash around in the creek, find over fifty species of native plants and wildflowers, search for fossils, and possibly catch a glimpse of the elusive hellbender: the largest salamander in North America.
Within a few minutes' drive of the campsite are several trails for hiking or mountain biking. Lula Lake hosts public access days several times a month, and for a truly "grand" experience, you can visit Cloudland Canyon State Park, just 10 miles down the road. After your day of adventure, return to camp to enjoy a campfire and a hot dinner prepared by your hosts. At night you'll sleep in one of our awesome Tentsile suspended hammock tents, or a traditional ground tent if you prefer, and get lulled to sleep by the sound of the creek flowing over the rocks.Dog friendly!
