It was a great stop for our quick 1 night trip to Clayton. Scott was great for meeting us when we can in after dark and was very hospitable. I hope to come back and try out the trout fishing.
It was an excellent stay. Scott was very laid back, friendly and accommodating. One of the evenings we stayed there was a small concert featuring a couple of superb Americana singer songwriters, including Scott Low himself, a very accomplished musician in his own right. All in all a very warm friendly atmosphere.
Hatch Camp was a wonderful experience. Scott and his family were very welcoming! The campsite was clean and right next to a nice creek. He had a very clean port-a-potty available and great recommendations for where to eat in town if you want to visit Clayton!
Peace and quiet
Our family loved our camping weekend at Hatch camp. It was so peaceful and quiet. Camping directly on Warwoman Creek was a treat! Our teenager loved exploring the whimsical decor and our three year old couldn’t get enough of the soccer goal. Scott and his family (including their lovable pups) were great hosts.
Scott has found a slice of nirvana on Earth. Scott met me upon arrival, in the dark, and showed me the sites. I was the only one camping tonight and had my pick of sites. I choose one closest to the creek, #5. It was awesome. I could hear the insects all night, when it wasnt cloudy I could see tons of stars, amazing. I haven't seen a night sky like that since The Black Hills of SD. If im back in the north Georgia area I will camp here again.
Look forward to returning soon!
Hatch Camp and Art Farm was a beautiful spot. We appreciated the sound of the water behind our campsite. There are multiple areas to hang out and wee were able to view some meteors at night from the fire pit area. While spending time down in the water, we saw several trout swimming. I will be sure to return and look forward to fishing with Scott in the future!
Slept beside a gurgling stream on a flat bit of comfortable dirt surrounded by trees. Camp folks were nice even letting us join them at their fire, toss a frisbee, and play corn hole. Great place to camp. I’d definitely do it over again.
