This site is easy to get to, very private, and still close enough if you need to make a run to the store for anything. Our group of guys had a great time making a fire and some great meals, and we had plenty of room for four cars and a camper. Al is a terrific host and made sure that we had everything we needed. We will be back.
Al checked in with me a number of times leading up to our trip to ensure that we had everything we needed. The site is private and quiet, but if you need to make a grocery run, the town is not too far away. The pond sets a great backdrop for the site, and Al was nice enough to leave some firewood out for us. We had a great time and plan to come back to this spot next year. Thank you, Al!
The site is private. The host had a fire ring ready when we arrived. It was a pleasant getaway for the weekend.
Mr. Clark was very accommodating. I communicated to him that we would not arrive until after dark and he had a fire pit ready to start for a cold night. He also checked on us several times throughout the stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Campsite was clean. Directions easy to follow. Make sure you pack fishing poles for a very active bass population next to the campsite. Will definitely be staying here again the next time we are in the area.
