Tucked in on 4.5 acres, this spot is a secluded, enchanting piece of old Florida. Pitch a tent in one of our four designated camping sites and post set up, take a swim in the pond. Wet a line and see if you can pull in our trophy bass, "Pub Sub," or relax on the embankment. Check out what's growing in the seasonal garden and if you’d like to to visit our horses, cows, KuneKune pigs, and local mascot, Nacho the Donkey, please book a private tour with us!
Florida's gem-colored, healing spring waters are just a 20 minutes up the way and local retreat centers and yoga studios dot the area. Gator fans? Head into Gainesville for a game and to visit the University of Florida.

Great time, very private
We had a fantastic time at Allie's Blue Heron site! This is a private piece of forested farmland with a beautiful small lake in the center full of flowering lily pads. Allie has created a few tent camping spots and 1-2 RV hookup sites that provide power and water. There is also an adorable outhouse on site if you prefer not to use your RV facilities. My husband and I spent 3 nights there in a small RV with our dog. Since it was private, our dog was able to be off-leash and had a blast exploring the woods, splashing in the lake, and playing with the 4 farm dogs that roam and would come over during the day to visit. The only drawback is that nothing is paved, so I recommend watching the weather ahead of your stay here, as it rained before we arrived and was very muddy. Getting our SUV and RV to the site created a bit of a mess!
Quiet and beautiful setting
This was our second time staying here. The electric and water hook ups are perfect for our class C motor home. This is a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the quiet country setting snd a perfect location to take a side trip into Gainesville to visit University of Florida. Sassy Nana ( large white fluffy dog ) May visit you for a hug. She is the sweetest dog ever and roams the property. We are looking forward to our next visit
Best florida campsite ever
A little bit of my heart was left at this site. Two beautiful large Great Pyrenees dogs met us on our arrival and made it clear that they were there to protect us from any creatures lurking in the forest late at night. Late st night as we sat outside under a full moon, one of these beautiful dogs laid at the head of our feet and enjoyed our company as we enjoyed hers. The pond, the campsite, the evening wildlife sounds around the pond. Magical. We could not be more happy with our experience. Our host was gracious and her great hip site camp is second to none.
Great trip! beautiful piece of land
What an amazing experience. It was the perfect place for my family to get away from devices and connect with nature and each other. Camp fires, smores, a pond to fish or swim in, a rooster crowing, fresh eggs, and beautiful animals walking the land. The farm dogs loved the kids and the kids loved them, especially sassy nana!
I wish we had more time it went to fast. The local area has some great nature including Giny springs near by.
We had a RV but no wifi and service was decent but not great, which I think made it even better! Water pressure was good and hook up was easy.
I do suggest booking your farm your and horse ride before arrival. Get eggs if you can, and wood too, they'll bring a fire pit out to you if available!
I good to be back and I am thankful the experience!
very safe, peaceful, well spaced lovely setting......
did not meet Allie, but other hipcampers were friendly...
friendly chickens, peacocks and dogs free ranging...
only down side was a rooster doing his thing beginning at about 4.30 am
Magical experience everytime!
This was our second stay at Wildflower Pond. We loved it so much the first time that we couldn’t wait to schedule another trip. This time, we brought my parents along for their first camping trip with us. The weather didn’t cooperate on Saturday but we made the best of it. It rained on and off for what seemed like most of the day but luckily it wasn’t too much that we couldn’t keep a fire going and we’re able to enjoy it while sitting under our camper’s awning. It was very peaceful to just watch the drops of rain as they hit the surface of Wildflower Pond. Sunday morning, it was still chilly but the sun was shining. We were able to take my parents on the farm tour with Allie. It was like re-uniting with an old friend. We chatted about all the animals and all the changes since our last visit. I was sad to leave, but we are already planning another trip back. If you’re considering camping at any of the locations, you won’t be disappointed. It’s a unique experience to be sitting around a fire in the evening and look up to see two cute pigs running around your campsite, or horses grazing on the distance.
