Dr. Keith Lopez is a literal vampire. He has driven away every long term camper, some short term and has certainly turned off more than a few of his airbnb guests.

He is selfish, rude, extremely short and often nasty. He will try to ask you not to curse, then he will curse his 5 year old son out. He will judge you for your diet or physical shape then drink himself to sleep every night.

He has no sense of personal space or privacy. He is beyond awkward. He’s condescending and belittling.

He will fool you with zen talk then become loud and argumentative, even borderline violent and threatening if you dare speak your mind.

My family worked hard on his property for months in exchange for what would’ve been 300 dollars a month rent to camp on a small slice of his property only to be told we did nothing, we take up too much space and we owe him money, and when we gave him a realistic date just over a month away when we would move out he threatened to call the cops.

We had to do what every other renters/workers/volunteers have done in the past and sneak away so as not to tip him off and give him a reason to make a scene.

Jai Jungle is a farce. Stay far away.

The only way to describe Jai’s Jungle is PURE magic. I went to visit the springs but my time at this amazing food forest was, by far, the highlight of trip. The property is a wonderland. You will enjoy discovering edible plants and watching butterflies dance in the food forest. The camping area is clean with an outdoor kitchen, outdoor shower and composting toilet. Truly a nature lover’s paradise. The best part, however, is the beautiful community and vibe of the people who live there. I will never forget my time at Jai’s Jungle and I hope to come back soon! ❤️

This was my 1st Hipcamp experience. I went into it just looking for an affordable, last-second place to stay where I could have peace of mind sleeping through the night. I ended up developing friendships and had shared experiences for 5 days. The owner of this land, Keith, is working with really great people, JP, Mary & family to make continuous improvements to the land. The place has a lot of potential with many projects in the works (chicken coop, kitchen, the long-term vegetation). Even while many of these things are in the budding stages, I would still recommend this Hipcamp — especially if looking for a peaceful place. For me, I kind of liked having the option of staying in my own space or also being able to interact under the beautiful community willow tree whenever. Thanks again y’all, best wishes, and hope to see you in the future!

Jai Jungle is a breath of fresh air for a regular Hipcamper. The host is very friendly and knowledgeable about permaculture and natural fitness. The camp is quite private and family friendly. There is plenty of space for kids to run around and it’s a very safe pretty neighborhood with no traffic. Prepare for mosquitoes and ants, this is a Florida jungle for the most part. Plenty of shade. The well water is tasty and refreshing. Plenty of butterflies and owls.

If your Self-sufficient and ready to chill with some folks in an open style primitive camp... Jungle jia is your jam.... lots of shade, big fire ring, basic kitchenette with running well water, Outhouse john, and A few private cleared tent sites.... close to Amenities like publix market and dollar general.....with a host who has a big heart, loves to talk farm culture and bumps Reggae music while he tends to his crop....
