Welcome Y'all!! Here at North Shore Relic Ranch, we are minutes from wekiva springs and rock springs. Plus this is home to our 12 cool cows and about 50 crazy chickens, which you can interact with. A little bit of something for everyone, such as hammocks available (free, just ask & we will hang it!) to unwind. We have some interesting vehicles on the property to check out. There are also miles of marked nature trails next to the camp sites. Lake Apopka and canals to kayak on, are only 800 feet away, and there is a 15 mile free nature drive just minutes away. Or just relax and camp/explore! (Tents available for rent, we also have 2 horse stalls for rent, so you can bring your horse to ride the trails)There are different areas around the property where you can camp. A very laid back, chill vibe. Campsite areas are quite vast, so privacy should be of no concern! Fishing is allowed on our property and next door there are state owned hiking trails and canals to fish & kayak on. Plus a boat ramp to launch with restrooms. Campers are asked not to enter/loiter around the 2 private residences, please respect privacy. (but have no concern, there is absolutely plenty of room to wander the camp area and explore!!) There is lots of wildlife so bring the camera, and not only wildlife, our farm animals are huge hams when it comes to pictures (no pun intended, lol) Fire wood/Water/ Soft drinks/ Snacks available to purchase.

The host was very accommodating, helpful and easy going. The property is awesome, large and mostly wild which makes for a more fun boondocking experience. The other reviewers are correct on a couple of things. The bug situation is real, like Naked and Afraid status. (Most of our group were campers and hikers and have been to a load of places, never experienced anything like it but it was the beginning of May, and it’s central Florida. Expect bugs) There was a bit of trash on the property (not the planes, and cars, etc) which could use to be picked up. Other than that, we had a genuinely awesome time and were grateful to spend some time in the woods without a ton of people around.
Oh! And you have to get some chicken eggs! Delicious!!
Last minute unexpected stay and didn’t quite know what to expect. Great Spot! Each site is quite secluded from the next. My site was under a large canopy of oaks, there was a solar bag shower set up, a picnic table, fire pit, and fresh eggs for purchase. I had my dog as well. James was very helpful and greeted me upon arrival. The solar lights strung up in the trees was also a nice touch
Convenient magic wildlife oasis
This campground was fantastic James and Valene are consciousness host. It is the perfect location for seclusion magical experiences with wildlife next to giant parks and walking trails bike trails and boating opportunities. We had a fire pit clean chairs water brought to the side to completely cleaned out houses.
Me and my child went out in the canoe and we were rookies and James gave us directions of the ins and outs, so we had our first experience by ourselves in a canoe and we survived.
We stayed for two days and it was magical and we will be back.
I loved my stay here! James was incredibly accommodating, the camp spot was secluded, flat, spacious and well maintained with fresh water, camp shower, fire pit, table and chairs. The land was interesting with lots to do. I highly recommend this spot!!
Rustic camping great space!
Great place to camp yet be fairly close to Tavares kayaking on the Dora Canal. Lots of privacy between campsites.
What a great setup the host provided: sun warmed out door shower bag, a jug of good water to wash dishes with, two chairs setup near the fire ring and even wood for the fire!
