A little bit of something for everyone, such as hammocks available (free, just ask & we will hang it!) to unwind. We have some interesting vehicles on the property to check out. There are also miles of marked nature trails next to the camp sites. Lake Apopka and canals to kayak on, are only 800 feet away, and there is a 15 mile free nature drive just minutes away. Or just relax and camp/explore! (Tents available for rent, we also have 2 horse stalls for rent, so you can bring your horse to ride the trails)There are different areas around the property where you can camp. A very laid back, chill vibe. Campsite areas are quite vast, so privacy should be of no concern! Fishing is allowed on our property and next door there are state owned hiking trails and canals to fish & kayak on. Plus a boat ramp to launch with restrooms. Campers are asked not to enter/loiter around the 2 private residences, please respect privacy. (but have no concern, there is absolutely plenty of room to wander the camp area and explore!!) There is lots of wildlife so bring the camera, and not only wildlife, our farm animals are huge hams when it comes to pictures (no pun intended, lol) Fire wood/Water/ Soft drinks/ Snacks available to purchase.

Such a fun and diverse stay!
Although I only got to stay here 1 night, I would absolutely come back for a longer stay. The hosts are very accommodating, respectful, informative and generous. There is lots to do, and they have set up the sites in a creative way. Hiking/trails, roaming around the farm, feeding goats/chickens/cows, camping fires and relaxation. Had fresh eggs from their chickens for breakfast, which were delicious! Word to the wise, I would listen to the host and bring bug spray/repellent of some kind, especially if visiting in the summer times!
Quiet , secluded , good hospitality
The place has a lot of mosquitos. Bring good mosquito spray, have B1 vitamins tablets in your system and use cedar oil also. James was extremely kind and accommodating. We had the whole place to ourselves. There is one outhouse which is kind of uncomfortable to use during the heat but glad it was there. The place needs some work, maintenance, and a good clean up. But if we needed anything James was right there to make sure we had it and never hesitated in the hospitality. If you want a secluded place close to nature and quiet….. this is for you. I recommend but again the property needs a tish bit of upkeep. Thanks James!
Nice place and excellent service
James is an awesome host. As soon we arrived he approached us to show us the place and give us some recommendations about what to visit around. The place is under beautiful trees and we found the place with firewoods and nice chairs around. It also have a big table with the benches and a camping shower. Just be prepared for the bugs because they are wild.
Fun and centrally located
Although the site is still in it's early stages, Valene and Jim are building a great campground. Each quaintly themed campsite is well equiped with a fire pit, chairs tables and they even had a gas grill waiting for us. We brought our cub scout pack for a springs trip during rainy season, and was worried about being flooded out but each site is on high ground. The hosts were very attentive to our every need, and let the kid feed the cows and chickens. Close to many of the springs, boat ramp and fishing close by.
Scout friendly, informative and accommodating and VERY helpful hosts! We had brought our cub scout pack up to do a springs trip, the hosts did above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and kept us as comfortableand entertained. Kids loved the animals! within 30 minutes of wekiwa springs state park, rock springs and Kelly park, it is a great location away from the noise of the city.
Although camp is new, the hosts are building a great park. Any trouble or questions they were a phonecall away; had gotten my truck stuck and the hosts were there with a tractor and a bobcat in minutes! Each site is quaintly themed and was equiped with chairs, tables, and fire pits. Ambient lighting throughout, easy access. Would camp again!
We had such a great time! Mike was wonderful with our 14 year old son. He showed him around and told him the stories behind all of the interesting cars. He loved it! He also let us borrow his generator for the weekend so we could inflate our mattress. Wonderful location, private, serene, and close to a fishing dock. We will definitely go back! Thank you all so much! ❤
Great primitive camping!!!
We LOVED it here!! Spacious camp sites. We are planning our next trip already. Clean area, lots of birds and butterflies. Saw an otter cross the road. Clean restroom. The park down the street has fishing and trails. Grocery store and McD's about 5 miles away. The host(s) are AWESOME!! You can't go wrong choosing North Shore Relic Ranch.
I didn’t like it.... I freakin loved it!!!!!! James met us with open arms introduced us to the cows (they have food that u can feed them too) and led us through the awesome property to the site we would be camping at. The ground was clear, fire pit was ready to go and they even have fire wood, an open air shower. If u go during the summer months be prepared with your bug spray and whatever els u use as bug repellent LOL I will deff be returning regularly as it is also pretty close to a few of the springs.
5 stars over here
