trees too low to even park, we asked for help, we asked for the host to help- he offered but we already left.... Hipcamp itself was very deficient in responding... Hipcap did respond like 6 days later... too little too late

The site was perfect for us. I called upon arrival and he came and helped us get set up. It was a quiet and private spot off the beaten path

This is a peaceful piece of property tucked away from city life. You’ll hear Roosters and dogs and birds and have electricity for your getaway.

Very private, The host met us and was accommodating. Great view of the stars that night. It is pretty far down bumpy dirt road so be prepared, we would definitely use this site again.

We could see ALL the stars each of the two nights we stayed there! How beautiful! Randall was so nice and made sure we got settled in … with 30 amp service and water (not drinkable).
It was so wonderful to be out in the country and to hear an occasional peacock and rooster (only occasional… it was not a bother, at all). Us three lady campers felt safe and welcomed.

Quiet and clean property to park, leveled terrain.
A bit difficult to find after sunset, I recommend to arrive before sundown to set up camp. Host is very attentive and caring. There are two beautiful dogs that mostly stay indoors and get out in the morning, lovely puppies very playful.
I would definitely return.

The “big yard” was just what we wanted for a couple days. Away from the everyday hubbub, private, and extremely quiet. Randal was a pleasant host and helpful. It could be hard to get into for a larger rv but our 30 foot Coachman fit just fine. If your gps tries to send you up Jerry Rd (2 miles of washboard dirt rd) choose the Faux Pas Rd option.

Just what we needed to be able to explore Hillsborough River State Park and Colt Creek State Park for fishing, biking, hiking and kayaking. Both are within a few minutes drive. Nice big yard. We enjoyed hearing all the different farm animals from our site. Host was very responsive to any questions we had. We would go back.

Great cost, close to Tampa! Yard was level and gate was always open. There are roosters that will wake you up but I like that.
That area is usually moist and/or raining periodically so plan ahead. It rained or was foggy a lot at night and in the morning but my tent took care of that.
I did not see a flush toilet but was not there long enough for that to matter and did not take advantage of other features.

For everyone wondering about the toilet situation if it's a appropriate time/lights are on just knock on the door and we'll let you in to use the bathroom and shower if needed. And plenty of time to check the bathroom if you're worried about a peeping Tom.
