Welcome! We offer a simple off-grid glamping spot for those that want to get away to nature but want a few of the comforts of, and not all the packing, camping requires. We are located on 4 wooded acres with 100+ year old cedars and Douglas firs, a small creek and a meadow and wetland with many wild birds, owl, eagles, coyotes, deer and other wildlife. We are just minutes from Historic downtown Poulsbo and Port Gamble. We now have a sofa/futon bed so we can sleep up to 4.
Perfect location to run off to the Olympic Peninsula for the day, touring around locally, or just enjoying connecting to nature. There is also a propane fire pit so you can have a campfire during burn bans, sink, outdoor heated shower, and compost toilet for guest use. Glamping fun!
Yes! You will be nice and warm even if its cold and rainy with the woodstove in the tent. We start you off with a bundle of wood and you can bring wood or buy wood from us whatever you choose. We provide a lighter and some fire starter sticks to get that fire going.
We can provide towels for the shower, please let us know if you would like those provided.Offering a glamping experience on 4+ acres just 5 miles north of Poulsbo. All bedding, cooking ware and linens provided in our 12' X 16' canvas wall tent. One Queen size bed and one futon queen bed to sleep 4. A forested creek and a small meadow complete the experience, along with a lovely campfire pit. Our house is on the property, but it is over 250ft away. We want to give our guests all the privacy they desire, so you probably won't see much of us unless you need assistance with anything and in that case, we are right there to help.
For guest use there is also a bath house with a compost toilet, handwash sink and propane heated shower. From Nov to April the shower is only available for use during the day due to having to winterize the shower due to freeze protection.
There is a solar powered battery bank in order to run the lights, mini fridge/cooler, charge your phone or other electronics, and run the toilet fan and lights in the bathhouse.
Cooking is available using the woodstove, the two burner propane camp stove or the campfire pit with the fire grate. We now have a propane fire pit so guests can have campfires, even during a burn ban!
Walk the wooded trail out the meadow and have a picnic in the grass, or just enjoy the mountain view in the distance. There is also a hammock in the woods during the warmer months.
