7 acres hosted by Cris & Mickey P.

Our 7 acre secluded property includes a woodsy spot on a floating platform overlooking the West River valley. Mountain, valley and seasonal West River views are some of our enjoyments. Fall foliage is spectacular and scenic drives are abundant. It is easily accessible to several local treasures. Townshend Dam and Jamaica State Parks are nearby, as well as Stratton Mountain, Mount Snow and Bromley resorts with four season activities.
Tube down the West River at the bottom of our “hill” with rope swings and covered bridges. It’s a short drive to Newfane and it’s famous Rock River swimming holes that are minutes away. Brattleboro is 20 minutes south for boutique shopping and eclectic dining options. If you want to grill up your own meals the Riverbend Farmers Market is just 1 mile down our mountain.
We are 15 minutes from historic Grafton. Dine at the Grafton Tavern after a busy day of outdoor adventuring at Grafton Ponds. Flea markets, farmer’s markets and artisan tours are all within easy reach. Property owners are onsite to make certain your stay is all it can and should be.This sunny and woodsy glamping site is a near the main house. However, there is still privacy. The terrain to the tent is slopped from parking spot. The property owners are continuing to work on the landscape, but no work will be done while guests are at the site. There are mountain and West River Valley views.
The tented latrine facility is private and comfortably near the site. There is no shower. Homeowners have a friendly dog and cat. They SHOULD not bother you. There is some traffic noise from route 30, a reminder of the convenience to Brattleboro and the resorts. Roads to the house are inclined and dirt as the property is atop a mountain.
