Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Welcome to our flat campsite perched up on a hill, offering an amazing view of the surrounding mountain tops. There's plenty to do here, with Causey Reservoir just 5 minutes down the road, Pineview Reservoir 10 minutes away, Club Rec a 15-minute drive up the road, and numerous hiking trails to explore. Whether you prefer ATV riding at Club Rec in Monte Cristo, kayaking at Causey and Pineview Reservoirs, or fishing on the Southfork of the Ogden River, there's something for everyone.
Please note that this is a minimalist campsite. While there is a fire pit available for use, you must bring your own wood and means for extinguishing the fire. Additionally, there is no Wi-Fi or cell service, allowing you to truly disconnect and immerse yourself in nature. You are responsible for bringing your own sleeping arrangements, whether it be under the stars, in a tent, or in a trailer.
Accessing the campsite requires driving half a mile on uneven dirt roads and rocky terrain. We live on another part of the property and are easy-going hosts. All we ask is for respect towards the land and environment, and to pack out what you brought in. Enjoy your stay!Mountain Top Camp is beautifully situated on a flat, grassy portion of the property to park your vehicles, travel trailer and/or pitch your tent. The camp has stunning views all around from the surrounding mountain tops and ridges. Guest will enjoy 1 acre to themselves and will notice a small, brown/tan structure in the distance - that is our well house and our boundary marker for the camp. Please don't get close to our well house and stay on the side where the camp is situated. There are no bathroom amenities here, guests will need to be self contained, take waste with them and leave no trace.
