Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
The Lazy D Ranch is a working cattle ranch with a total of 130 acres of open space, wildflowers, and gorgeous night skies. Unobstructed views provide fantastic night sky views.
Spring winds bring fresh breezes and opportunities for flying kites in the field. The front camping field is 40 acres. A seasonal watering hole is nearby for wading, cooling off or birdwatching.
Tent Camping spots are available by the shade trees or throughout the pasture, as space is available. Primitive camping. No amenities available, other than a few tables. Just open space.
Access is off County Road 932, with a private code.
Fires are available during ideal conditions (depending on wind, rain, and burn bans) at the group fire area at the Wild Wolf Wading Pond.
