Primitive camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Little River Campground is all natural off-grid primitive barefoot friendly camping river cove on 5 acres. The campground is nestled on the side of a 1k ft tall mountain, one campsite is 500 feet up for the brave and adventurous and other several campsites at lower creek with easy access. The adventurous campsite at higher elevation is private behind gated community and has its own river portage with rock climbing and even camping on a ridge overlooking the river. The lower level resting campsites have easy access to road and spring fed creek and public river portage close by. A perfect place for canoeing, kayaking, hunting and fishing. Its a 2 hour paddle ride to the Sequoyah Marina and to Sequoyah Birthplace Museum. Will need to bring your own canoe or kayak and safety devices. Plus the river is regulated by TVA so you will still need to follow TWA rules and regulations for canoeing and fishing and Tennessee laws for hunting.
