Our property is located approx 10 minutes from Sunset Marina on Dale Hollow Lake in Byrdstown, TN. Wolf River can be accessed nearby in different locations for various length fishing or kayaking trips. Plenty of space on property for boats, trucks, trailers etc. Lots of fishing, boating, kayaking and more to be enjoyed in the area. If you have a boat bring it along. If not then never fear there are several area marinas that offer rentals.
For the outdoor enthusiasts we are approximately 45 mins to an hour from Pickett State Park and Big South Fork National Recreation Area in Jamestown, TN. There you will find plenty of hiking, horseback riding, mtn biking, whitewater rafting/kayaking, swimming, camping, endless off roading trails, etc. And our favorite place of all, Charit Creek Lodge in BSF which can only be reached by hiking or horseback. If history interests you we are located near both the Cordell Hull Birthplace State Park and Alvin C York State Park. If you need information on any of the activities or things to do in the area feel free to reach out and we will do our best to point you in the right direction.
Or maybe you are just passing through and need a spot to rest for the night. We are conveniently located less than 3 miles from both Hwy 111 and Hwy 127.This is a secluded campsite tucked away on our 70+ acre property. From this shaded campsite you have a full view of our kudzu vine covered hillside. The trees around the site offer a fully shaded and private area. This campsite could fit up to 4-8 tents in the shade depending on the size if needed. If more space is needed there is infinite space for tents and/or vehicles that is not in this designated camping spot. Firewood included at the site for the designated fire ring in your campsite. Feel free to scavenge the property for kindling and firewood as needed. Expect to see lots of wildlife including rabbits, deer, turkey, groundhogs and squirrels. In the summer you will find abundant wild blackberries in the field. Hammocks are welcome
