Chickens, goats and turkey live with a few other animals. They can be noisy periodically.Price includes foraging permission for anything except wild ginger. Mushrooms, fruit, berries, plants, catfish, bluegill & more.

Small to medium-sized vehicles and trucks. Due to the narrow road and entrance.
You can camp by the pond or anywhere on top of the 300' hill. The hike up the hill has two paths. A gravel road or the adventurer's route.
You can catch and release fish at the stocked pond or hike any of the trails that span the property in each direction.
Fishing for consumption is permitted on a limited basis for an additional fee.
There are a couple of nice clearings up top and in the woods. Several sites to choose from. You could spend a week here sleeping in a different place each night. We offer various stages of forest. Mature woods as well as new prairie. There are old hard wood and pine. Plenty of firewood around for your campfire. Your firewood collecting is your responsibility.
Camping is bring your own everything. This is CAMPING not RV parking. Though we do have room for one small camper but it's enter at your own risk with the tree branches and driveway. Cars and trucks, no problem. 4x4 is ideal.
Parking is at the first landing. Hiking is on your own. Rides might be available for gratuity. The little mountain is quite steep and hard on these vehicles. Your vehicle is not covered to drive up this mountain. Sorry and thanks for understanding.
This is a working homestead and farm. This means there are sounds and noises from tractors, machines and animals. Most of the time it's tranquil but, serenity is your responsibility. We have goats, chicken, dogs, turkey and a parrot. The goats love attention.
You are welcome and invited to take part in as much of our daily lives, chores and projects as you like. Ie: pet the goats or feed the chickens, fix the plumbing, or just go camp and only see us at check-in.
This is a true slice of Tennessee. Bring your tent and enjoy nature.
