Attention RV and van-lifers, here's your safe haven! Introducing a brand-new listing, and I'm seeking your assistance in navigating the ins and outs of hosting. Located just 25 minutes from downtown Asheville, this property sits in a rural, fertile valley, offering breathtaking views to the north and south. Encompassing a total of 23 acres, 5 of which are nearly flat and ideal for parking/camping, while the remainder provides excellent hiking opportunities. A charming bubbling creek, a storage barn suitable for construction or running a business, and the promise of future hydro-power with solar and a battery bank by the creek add to the property's appeal. For those parking near the main house, a 120v extension cord is available for power and internet access. Alternatively, if you prefer to park by the creek, please note that there is currently no power, internet, or water available in that area, though plans are underway for hydro-power with solar and a battery bank. Anticipate future offerings with RV power hookups. Presently, the amenities are somewhat rustic, serving as a trial to gauge interest. While toilets are not yet available, plans are in place for constructing composting toilets. Rainwater and shallow well water are provided. Feel free to reach out with any questions or suggestions; your input is appreciated!As there's plenty of space and no assigned parking, just put your tent or vehicle wherever you want. Down by the creek is most peaceful. Need to keep in mind that the ground can be soft.

Beautiful quite area

Beautiful area, write in the valley surrounded by mountains. Dead End Road so just local traffic, really enjoyed driving around the area as well. Great for motorcycling. I will be coming back.

Quiet Views in the Mountains

2nd stay as good as the first! Stayed earlier in the week and had some windy and rainy weather. Came back as we were still in the area and the views are fantastic. Would absolutely stay here again.

It’s a beautiful pasture, very quiet.very new unestablished site. Surrounded by farms, cows and a stream neighbors are very friendly

Quiet Farmland in the Country

Had a great stay here, exactly what I was looking for. Reid the owner met me as I was arriving to show me where to park. I parked down by the creek as he suggested and it provided a nice relaxing sound. Cows from the adjacent farm were mooing which added to the creek ambience. I had no issues parking my Sprinter van and had the place all to myself. Note that as of March 2024 it is basically a big grassy field with a small fire ring near the creek. The owner has plans to make some upgrades soon but I would stay here again as it is now with no hesitation. It is very quiet would be great for stargazers and is located 15-20 min from Asheville. Hopefully he adds some signage or other notable visual as it would be easy to miss in the dark. Overall great stay!
