Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home in nature — including real toilets, showers, and kitchen.
We are a family owned horse farm managed by a USDF Bronze medalist where horses are boarded, trained with lessons given. The Hobbit House, as the name implies, is small and cozy and, if you really like each other, it can accommodate two. There is a double bed, a bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower. In the kitchen there is a microwave, coffeemaker, and small fridge. It is supplied with dishes, silverware, cups, and there are condiments in the refrigerator. Outside there is a picnic table and charcoal grill. We are a 15 min. drive to the Weymouth Woods Nature Preserve that has several levels of trails ranging from inexperienced to experienced hikers. We are 5 min. away from the Carolina Horse Park, and 20 min. from Pinehurst, where there are renowned golf courses, and 15 min. away from the quaint Southern town of Southern Pines. We are a family owned horse farm managed by a USDF Bronze medalist where horses are boarded, trained with lessons given.
