Secluded Off-Grid Mountain Getaway – Near Black Mountain, NC Beautiful, gated, private, and secluded mountain property about 25 minutes south of the town of Black Mountain. This site is fully off-grid with no utilities and is suitable for tents, car camping, and vans. Very small trailers under 13 feet may be okay, but please note that the driveway is steep and curved, with limited room to turn around at the top of the property. Enjoy a large stone fire pit and a couple of Adirondack chairs (as shown in the photos). A trash bin and a small amount of firewood are provided. Nearby attractions: • Old Fort – 20 minutes • Asheville – 40 minutes • Chimney Rock – 40 minutes • Mt. Mitchell – 1 hour 15 minutesSite 1 is the only site on the property and only one booking is allowed at a time, so the entire property will be yours to enjoy the duration of your visit. It is completely private and no visibility to any neighbors. You will however hear the goats and cows from the farm (Round Mountain Creamery) across the road. There is a gravel driveway to the top (4x4 not required except when there is snow on the ground) and the camping area is dirt/grass. Plenty of room to accommodate 2 vehicles and multiple tents and/or a pop-up trailer.

Site 1 is the only site on the property and only one booking is allowed at a time, so the entire property will be yours to enjoy the duration of your visit. It is completely private and no visibility to any neighbors. You will however hear the goats and cows from the farm (Round Mountain Creamery) across the road.
