In 2009, this property had been abandoned for 30 years. It was covered in impassable thickets of rose and honeysuckle and had no infrastructure. Craig and Erica lived a few miles away and drove by the property every day. They fell in love with its views and its rolling hillside, and thought the property might be the perfect place to realize their vision for a regenerative farm that uses livestock and woody perennial food crops to improve soil and sequester carbon while providing nourishing food for their community. In 2010 they purchased the land and began an epic adventure of learning, building and growing. Now the farm is home to cattle, sheep, geese, chickens, dogs, cats, several hundred fruit trees and bushes, several high tunnels and gardens, 3 families, and abundant wildlife. We love visitors!
