Hoot Owl Farms is located in the heart of beautiful Central New York, and has been in the family for nearly 80 years. Our seven and a half acres is secluded, with beautiful views from the hillside meadow, and a level, foliated entrance at the lower end.
There are thousands of acres of state land in every direction, with multiple public lakes and reservoirs within a ten-minute drive or less. The Finger Lakes Trail runs through this area of New York as well, and is easily accessible. Whatever your pleasure- boating, kayaking, hiking, bird-watching, horseback riding... it's all local!
There are three hospitals nearby- Cortland Memorial, Hamilton Hospital, and Upstate University Hospital. Just two miles south, you'll find anything you might need during your stay- gas, diesel, propane, groceries, charcoal, an ice cream stand, restaurants, etc.
But most importantly, relax at your private site at Hoot Owl Farms- Pick your plot and enjoy your stay under the stars!
