Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Located on 10.75 acres in the Western Catskills, the land is populated by relatively dense, young trees and features an old logging road that slopes up the mountain. It's located less than two miles from the historic Hamden Covered Bridge and offers access to nearby towns that offer some of the best trout fishing in the United States. Hiking, biking and tubing are also all within reach.Pitch your tent on our level, wooden 10' by 15' platform near the bottom of a former logging road that leads up a slope populated by young trees.
Relax by the firepit and gaze at the stars while you listen to the sounds of nature at our primitive campsite (i.e., there's an outhouse but no electricity or running water). The firepit is located in a small clearing that's surrounded by trees. (There's an RV on the property that's not available for lodging at the moment.)
Enjoy easy access to the Western Catskills, including the nearby towns Hamden, Delhi and Roscoe, which offers some of the best trout fishing in the United States.
