Kevin was super communicative and helpful, the hut was a little cold at night and hard to find but he will turn a light on for you and offer extra blankets if need be! Would be perfect in the summer I’m sure!!

The good kind of rustic
Great new years stay. We loved the woodstove and star gazing. We woke up to beautiful views and magpies out side the window. Just a few things to note, the cabin takes a while to heat up but once you have the wood stove going for a few hours with the space heater the space stays pretty warm most the night. We also blocked a lot of draft coming through the door frame with our jackets and bags which helped. I recommend arriving in the day light and bringing headlamps to help navigate from the parking to the front door. It was a wonderful stay and a new years that we will not soon forget.

Kevin’s writing hut was great! It was nice that there was electricity and the views were spectacular! Kevin is a great host; super welcoming and helpful. I would definitely go again.
