Bisti Campground

The location is fantastic. It is just off 550 so access to Chaco Canyon, Valley of Dreams, and Angel Peak is extremely convenient. We were the only ones there so we had the whole area to ourselves and we managed to find a level spot.

Bisti Campground

We were lucky to be able to camp so close to the entry to the Pueblo ruins. Kialo was very enthusiastic about opening his camp ground and making improvements. He is fine fellow indeed!!!!!Thank You Kialo

Bisti Campground

The campground is a cleared, roughly graded dirt lot a few hundred yards off the highway. (555). Campsites are not marked. The only facility is a port-a-potty. No picnic tables, fire rings or trash cans. Not bad for an RV but not recommended for tent camping.

Bisti Campground

I really enjoyed the ability to stay so close to Chaco and I used the opportunity to check out the Angel Peak Scenic area and parts of the Bisti wilderness as well. Kialo is a great host with very good communication and is a very good guide for the area. Next time I plan to take one of the tours his company offers. There was a strong AT&T data signal to use for work at the campground.

Bisti Campground

Good location, not a nice site.

The location for early visiting Chaco Canyon is great, and we appreciated being able to leave the trailer there and not take it down the rough park road. Host was pleasant and accommodating. However, this is just a dusty field. If you are charging $30 for the site, it needs to be leveled better. And it’s SO dusty, we couldn’t even be outside the camper. Maybe add gravel.

Bisti Campground

This is a new campground. It is convenient to the entrance road to Chaco Canyon. Suitable for overnight stop Better for hard sided trailers and vans not so much for a popup tent camper like ours. Very close to hgwy. Need to improve directions and signage.
