Do you need to recharge from the busyness of life? Nature’s beauty and simplicity awaits you at Our Daily Bread. Cradled on almost 200 acres of rolling hills, farmland, quiet valleys, picturesque woodlands the scenes of nature will ennoble the senses. The shimmering waters of Miller lake adorn the property’s southern border. Deer, wild turkey, swans, sandhill cranes, beaver, and occasional fox are but few of the residents who live here. Come and enjoy the peace and serenity, rest and relaxation of Our Daily Bread. We offer a place for families and individuals to come and feel safe and enjoy some quiet time... away from the hustle and bustle of life. We have lots of trails for hiking, a playground for kids, and lots of seating areas to rest and relax. We are a alcohol and smoke free campus, and don't allow foul language, parties or any disturbances to other guests.... as we value the satisfaction and peaceful experience here for all our guests. We do not allow pets for our cabin guests, and we're also a smoke and alcohol free campus. We have boats for rent (kayaks, canoes, row boats, paddle boats). This is not for everyone, but if you want to come and commune with nature and enjoy some peace and quiet, then this is the spot for you!Our campsites sits right by the lake overlooking the water! This site is located on the grounds of Our Daily Bread Christian Campground, and described by previous guests as one of the quietest place on earth. This is a rustic site with outdoor privies (pit toilets) close by and shower house available to use at no extra fee. We have the old fashioned hand pumps for water.... its well water, which is safe for drinking or cooking. There's lots of space for running around and playing, sandy beach area nearby with a rope swing for kids. We also have a volleyball net set up (with a ball there to use) and a basketball court next to it; and there's a playground with swings and slide, and a deck with seating nearby to safely watch little ones.
Pitch your tent and just listen to natural sounds of nature... birds songsters, beavers in the water, deer passing through, or the chirping of the frogs at night. At night, its pitch dark and the only light is your campfire. The sites around is breathtaking and the colors in the fall is worth the trip... its really a Norman Rockwell scene! We have 9 separate sites all together in this area along with other campsites and cabins throughout the almost 200 acres of camp.
