Relax in a minimalist cabin in the woods. Read a book, lay in the hammock, sit by the fire, or just stare up into the trees. With fiber optic wifi, if you need to stay connected! We have 30 acres to walk on, close access to hiking and biking trails and Beaver Lake is a 5 minute drive. The cabin is nearby to all the greater Thunder Bay/Alpena area. Explore Northern Michigan year round!Clewley's Nest sits on a 1.5 acre parcel connected to our 30 acres of woods. The tiny cabin is minimalist, but still offers a few extra comforts! King bed, full (small) kitchen, bathroom with shower and best of all, loft net hammock! Outdoor fire pit and chairs included.
You acces by an unimproved dirt road through our property and past our in-laws house. The Beaver Lake area is a neighborhood, but you can't see other homes from the cabin and you're tucked away from the road.
With advanced notice we can put up a Kodiak tent on the property to add space for two more people. (6 guests max total).
The 30 acres is available to walk, run, bike or ski on, weather depending! Just stay on the trail so you don't accidentally wander to a neighboring property.
Beaver Lake Park access is about 5 minute drive to put a kayak in or swim. Plus, there are an abundance of trails, beaches and things to explore in the Thunder Bay/Alpena area.
