Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Enjoy Rangeley Maine's Path of Totality in the comfort of your own RV, parked in one of 2 spots centrally located on Route 4 and within walking distance of restaurants, bars, IGA, overlook, Rangeley Health and Wellness, Town Park, Rangeley Lake, and a host of weekend celebration events! 8 mile drive to Saddleback Mountain Ski Resort. Park all weekend and avoid traffic! Enjoy the panoramic views from this historic farmstead, now a commercial office which will be closed for the weekend. Arrival Sunday 7th or Monday 8th, depart prior to Tuesday morning, April 9 at 6am. Proceeds from your fees will be donated to non-profit WRGY 90.FM Rangeley Community Radio. Each of 2 sites are limited to self contained RV's only, must have own power, bathrooms onboard. There are no hookup facilities on site; no use of outdoor facilities, firearms or campfires are allowed. Pets allowed on leash only as site is not fenced. Expect the field below the lower site to be snowy and mushy. Driving on the field is prohibited. Occupants of the lower site must be agreeable to upper site occupants utilizing a limited dry area of the lower site during the weekend for viewing. All site occupants to be respectful, law abiding, patient. There is potential slow but crowded vehicle and pedestrian traffic on adjacent Route 4 during your stay. Each site maximum is one RV and one passenger vehicle, 10 persons, 2 pets. Fees: Lower Site $250, Upper Site $250 for Sunday-Tuesday 6am You will be helping support non-profit Rangeley's Community Radio with your fees, however the amount may not be tax deductible. Contact the host prior to your arrival and we will meet you on site. Have a beautiful Eclipse weekend!!!
