Happy accidents
So thankful to have found this campground! My husband and I had a nice getaway planned and last minute (literally hours before it was time to hit the road) our airbnb had to cancel due to personal reasons of their own. We reached out to Kurt who kindly not only let us book last minute knowing that we weren’t going to arrive till the middle of the night… but stayed up to check in with us and be there to let us in. I wish we had more time to explore this cute little campground but we had to leave pretty early. We will be back to stay when we have another kid free weekend and 10/10 recommend to anyone. Thank you for existing 🌻💕

Perfect for our Anniversary
Absolutely beautiful site. Wonderfully supportive host. We had a blast and are already planning to book our next trip. Enjoyed a ride on the paddle boat, took great showers, talked with wonderful neighbors, and the site was super clean. Loved it. Grateful to have found this gem.

Amazing experience for the price
This place was amazing very relaxing. I was very skeptical when I came onto the property but it was a quiet Place even know what tents are close to each other it made you feel like you were on phone but still had enough privacy. The only thing I wish is that the toilets were a little more clean and always make sure you have toilet paper, but honestly, it was still worth it. The AC in the room helps on the hot days. We will be back!

Camping at Sausage Castle
It was an unexpected but wonderful surprise staying here at SC Campground. For more than affordable we were entertained all day and night as well as surrounded by beautiful nature. It’s a quick drive from the local springs and the perfect place to come back to from a hot day. The yurts have the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in and it was incredibly clean. The groundskeeper is very friendly and attentive.
I wasn’t initially aware that it was apart of the so-called “Sausage Castle” and honestly could and should be advertised more as the adult only playground it is. I love the open and welcoming atmosphere, but I am glad I didn’t unknowingly book one of their “events” . Also a list of the services available to the camp guests would be very helpful including open hours and such. (The only thing I’d really complain about are the full porta potties if that bothers you). It was a great stay and I’m 100% coming again to this hidden gem of a community.
