Picturesque 20 acres with views in nearly all directions of multiple mountains and ranges. Most areas of property have stunning views of nothing but mountains and trees as far as the eye can see. Very quiet area in Bear Trap Ranch. Relatively level spot for camping and/or parking an RV available. No hookups available - completely off-grid. Would also recommend only a raised RV and nothing beyond 30 feet long - path from road up to the level area is not paved. We drive it with an RV that is slightly raised going slowly. Our 2021 EPro 20BHS (about 23 feet long) with the off road package after removing our WDH works well. For camping, bring your own bags for portable toilet seat that is provided. Kitchen size 13 gallon bags work - preferably composting bags to then place in a regular bag to take with you. You must take all garbage with you including excrement bags upon completion of your trip. Be bear aware - it is called "Bear Trap Ranch." Bring bear spray, do no leave any food or wrappers anywhere unsealed including in open vehicles. While we have never seen a bear on our property, it's possible that will change at any time. We have heard a coyote pack in the night. Again, we have not seen them on our property, but be aware if you bring pets not to allow them to wander. There is almost always a fire ban. Do not plan on a camp fire. Gas fire pits and gas grills are ok - just please be careful! Explore nearby fishing/hiking/rock climbing at Eleven Mile Canyon, swimming at Guffey Gorge/Paradise Cove, hiking/exploring Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, and much more hiking/ATVing/and exploring nearby. Near Cripple Creek, Canon City, Guffey. Beautiful 1.5 hour drive from Colorado Springs up the pass through Woodland Park, Divide, Florissant, and through Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument. Verizon signal - at the top of the "driveway" once you are on the property there is intermittently a signal enough to get an email, phone call, or text. There is not typically a signal otherwise. I would not expect to have any other carrier signal on the property. Off-grid experience for true relaxation.Bring your family, enjoy the views, and have fun in nature! Hammock, tire swing, and picnic table on/near the tent site. Explore the 20 acres - hike around and see the views. Be careful! Some of the outer ledges are steep. Do not count on a cell signal. Sometimes you can get a Verizon signal at the top of the driveway hill, but it would not be enough for streaming, zoom, or games. You could make and receive calls and get emails if you catch a signal. Owner's tent, deck, and sheds are strictly off-limits. Propane fire pits allowed. Please BYO. No other types of fires or open flames allowed.  If you want to bring/use a generator, use it anytime. Quiet time 11 pm to 6 am. Pets welcome - but if they do not have good recall, please leash them. There are bears and mountain lions - do not let your beloved pet become a snack. Speaking of bears, please do not leave any food out, anywhere, ever. ** Bears will come back to where they have found food again and again.** Bring bear spray and a hiking bell. Be bear and other wildlife aware at all times. We would not recommend night-time hikes. No cooking equipment or utensils are supplied. Please bring your own.  Please do not feed the deer or any other wildlife. Let them stay wild. Bring your own restroom option/camp toilet. Our favorite has garbage bags that fit over the seat. Pro tip - pull the bag you're actually using for waste over the top of the actual seat. Put another bag around the bottom of that bag underneath the toilet seat so when you go to collect the waste, you pull the outside bag up over the inside bag and there's less chance of mess. Look for this on amazon - BLIKA Portable Toilet for Camping. There are other brands though that are great too. No water or electricity. All trash including anything bathroom related must be cleaned up completely and taken with you. Leave no trace.

We loved the seclusion of this camp site. The land and views are beautiful! We saw so many varieties of birds- especially enjoyed all the hummingbirds. The only thing disappointing was not being able to have a fire when there were no county restrictions. But, the owner was very clear about it ahead of time and knowing that allowed us to plan other methods for cooking. Take care when visiting this property because it is special. We had so much fun here and hope to return soon!

You won’t be disappointed!
This was our second time camping here. This is a great spot if you like quiet, private camping sites. Only one group can camp here at a time, so you won’t see or hear anyone else camping here. It has plenty of room for a tent and cars or an RV. There are multiple places where you can put a tent, the place I put mine I am able to park the car right next to the tent, if I want, which makes loading and unloading easy. This also makes it easy to keep food, trash, and anything else that produces odors locked up in the car without the need to carry it any distance for meal time. You are surrounded by 20 acres of trees and rocks to walk and hike around. The host was super helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this campsite.

Great place to camp! Very large, 20+ acres to explore, all to yourself. I don’t like campground camping because there are so many other campers around, so this place was perfect for us. you will be the only people camping here, very private and quiet. There are plenty of trees around and forest to hike through and explore. The host was very helpful, and quick to respond to questions. I highly recommend this site.
