Short drive to the Great Sand Dunes National Park, Zapata Falls and two 14ers, Culebra Peak and Mount Blanca!With wide open night skies and amazing views of the surrounding snow capped Sangre de Cristo mountain ranges including 14ers Culebra Peak and Mount Blanca, this campsite is in a sage brush meadow secluded by pine trees! Bring your tent and enjoy the fire pit and picnic bar table already in place! Collect firewood as you wish and watch out for wildlife from wild horses, elk, mule deer, bears, antelope and many more! Overland around the nearby Sanchez reservoir or drive to the nearby Great Sand Dunes National Park and Zapata Falls! Visit the oldest town in Colorado, nearby San Luis! Enjoy!
