The Ranch sits on 20 acres and is at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains. Vibrant green grass in the winter and spring after the rains and during summer and fall it can get very dry. Nearby is the Old Idyllwild Road where many people enjoy riding off road vehicles, mountain biking, horseback riding, and hiking on the dirt roads. None of these activities permitted on the property. When it is raining it can get very muddy and there is a high possibility you can get stuck in the mud if you do not have an AWD or 4WD. Very fun for off-roading.A short distance on a dirt road and camp with beautiful mountain view’s. Bring your bicycles or off road vehicles (not permitted to ride on the property) and enjoy many mountain dirt roads to explore. 45 min to 1 hour to Coachella/Stagecoach Music Festivals, Joshua Tree National Park, Idyllwild, Big Bear, and approx 35- 45 min to Palm Springs, Desert X, Desert Hot Springs, Aprox 25 minutes to Whitewater Preserve and the Pacific Crest Trail, just 15 min to the Cabazon Outlets, Morongo Casino, Lavender Festival, and Cherry Festival.
During the summer months it can get very dry- no campfires and please be courteous when smoking. Snakes, bobcats, and coyotes are common so be cautious when walking or hiking in the area. During winter the dirt roads can get very muddy.
