A clean, quiet, very private camping space suitable for self contained RVs, small trailers, camping vans. Surrounded by redwood, firs and pines. No close neighbors. (20 acres) Top of the ridge usually above the fog. Five minutes from Point Arena. No real "view" because you are nestled in the forest. But a great place to spend the night while enjoying all the benefits of the Gualala, Point Arena area.Nothing fancy....just a clean quiet large flat circular area nestled in the forest 300' from a normally quiet mountain road. Hard packed gravel surface. A favorite area for ravens in the evenings. Tall firs, redwoods, pines and oaks. Several walking options. I live nearby and should be available if you have problems. Cell phones usually work there.

Raven's Nest RV Spot

Exactly as described. Close to a road but secluded and quiet overnight. No frills, just a flat, very private spot to park surrounded by trees. Perfect for my guardian breed (Great Pyrenees) pup as she got to relax without a bunch of stimuli to alert to and bark at. It is a fantastic spot to stay and explore the Mendocino coastline. If you stay, I highly recommend checking out Franny's Cup & Saucer for baked goods and coffee just 5 minutes away, on 1 in Point Arena.

Privacy with huckleberries!

It was a level, large space, surrounded by huckleberry and other shrubbery and trees, and felt quite private. It was only a short distance off 10 Mile Cutoff, so you could hear cars passing, but there were very few after dark. A little expensive for what it was, but a guaranteed private overnight parking place in a popular area.

Quite private and easily 200 yards

Quite private and easily 200 yards off Tenmile Cutoff Rd. No signs (as is often the case for HipCamp sites) and a bit tricky to find, would not recommend trying to find it after dark! Stay on the main dirt road off Tenmile, don't take the smaller steep dirt road off to the right. Lovely site surrounded by Huckleberries, madronne, fir trees and other native plants.

Perfect Forest Camping with dogs!

We loved camping here on William’s land while exploring Point Arena and Gualala! We got to meet and chat with host William and he gave us some neat things to do and see in the area. We loved walking the trails and hitting the local beaches with the dogs. The area is gorgeous and peaceful. The Co-op market in town was our regular spot. Lots of great produce and grocery items! Raven's Nest RV Spot

We had a great time at Raven's Nest RV Spot! The host was responsive and helpful, check in & out was simple, the area felt very safe and the drive to the spot is beautiful. We enjoyed the foggy mornings in the forest and getting coffee and baked goods in the nearby town of Point Arena. A quiet and relaxing, tucked away space to park your RV or similar vehicle. Thank you!
