We have owned this land for over ten years. It is a beautiful place between mountains and the beach.

We plan on making this a beautiful getaway from it all where you can embrace the beauty of Playa Mar Chiquita and surrounding  areas.

Rainforest Campground & Glamping

This property was once a religious shrine. It was purchased by an American Rock Star as a pet sanctuary. Once we bought this place we though it was appropriate to call it, “The Sanctuary.” We use a portion of the income at this property to help our nieces/nephew's with their schooling and college.

Hacienda El Militar

"Camping y área de recreación donde tenemos las siguientes facilidades. Lugar privado con seguridad. Cámaras de seguridad. Acceso para todo tipo de vehículo.Tablado con direct tv, billar, Dominós, WiFi, Internet, escaleras para darte acceso al río toro negro las 24 horas del día, el río está alumbrado para tu disfrute. facilidad para hacer fogata. Cafetería ofrece, empanadillas, frituras, comida criolla y mucho mas... Colmadito con los artículos de primera nesecidad para tu camping, hielo ect.. Electricidad por placas solares, nunca se nos va la electricidad. Baño con toilet, ducha, lava manos y agua caliente. Área amplia y mucho espacio entre los otros grupos del camping. Mascotas friendly, 15 dólares por persona por cada día, nada más."

The misty mornings are breathtaking, and yet the cleanest fresh air you can enjoy. Great for exercising and relaxing. 

WhatNot Famous Sunrise. This could be the view you wake up to. Enjoy a cup of Cafe while watching the golden sun rise over the mountains. 

Are you brave enough to camp in the Jungle?  But rather not have to hike into the jungle to make it happen. All the privacy and beauty of an off grid camp site less than 10 minutes from town.  Central to so many fun activities. You’ll love your stay at Courage Creek Campground. 

Tanya and Robert are very familiar with the island and can help you add to your itinerary. Make sure to put 2-4 nights stay with us in the books. Central to so many great adventures, Utuado is a great launching pad for excitement.  Courage Creek Campground provides its own adventures and great options to rest after a day full of adventures.

Kayaks available for rent.  Lago Dos Bocas is 20 minutes away. 

In town about 10 minutes from our house. 

Playa Obispo in Arecibo is about 25 minutes away from camp. Easy, beautiful drive too.  Great place for families with kids. Cove makes for a nice safe space for kids to play in the water.  With so much beach you’re bound to find some privacy too. Regular beach good for jumping in waves. 

If you’re looking to do something really special, we know people that set that up. We would be happy to help coordinate that for you.
