Sora's Cabin

This single-story cabin is nestled on two acres at the end of a private road, which makes its location ideal for any visitor.  A cedar and brick facade makes for a rustic appearance, but interiors are anything but that.  Newly remodeled, this home features tile floors throughout for durability, a large kitchen with all the appliances for family meals, and cozy bedrooms when it's time to wind down after a long day.  The Master bedroom features a sleek Queen sized bed, 55" TV, walk-in closet, and its own private bathroom.  Bathroom amenities include his and her sinks, a lighted mirror with digital controls, and a large tub/shower combination. The second bedroom features a plush velvet, Queen bed frame, and cozy linens to soothe you after a long day at the lake.  And finally, the kid's room features two twin beds, a flatscreen TV, and playful decor.This property is special because it was given a "facelift" by its new owners.  After several longs months of hard work, on a budget,  the final result is what stands today.  Of course, there is always more work to be done, but the appreciation for the property and the intensive work that went into this project is something they are proud of, and sharing the result with the community makes it all worth it.

Our land cosist of about 364 acres of rolling hills, pasture land and hay meadows. There are also barnyard animals that roam the property. The Beaver's Bend State Park is within minutes, as it the Broken Bow Lake.
 We have owned our property for 12 years, and decided to buy in Hochatown because we had been camping in this area for over 28 years.
 This area brings us joy, love, peace, tranquility, and seclusion. We love the nature, the water, animals, and sunshine.
 We even love the rain!

We are also close to all of the Hochatown events, eateries, wineries, & breweries.
 You can go golfing, swimming, get lost in a "secret room" or get a massage, within a 5 minute drive of our location.

Grab your pillow, towels, swimsuits, toiletries and come on to Broken Bow Lake (2 miles) or Beaver's Bend State Park (5 miles) and enjoy the great outdoors, in style!

Darbywoods RV Park

We love Broken Bow (Hochatown) so bought a lot for our RV so we could enjoy year round.   

We now spend most of our time in Colorado so want to share this lot with others when we aren't there.  This private one acre lot is for only ONE RV nearby Broken Bow Lake, OK (less than 2 miles away).   This is a heavily wooded one acre lot comes with electric, septic and water.  This lot is very close to the state parks and located in the area called Hochatown.  The lot is less than 1/4 mile from the center of Hochatown but very private and quiet.   There is a long level pad in the center of the lot. We have 50 amp power (30 amp if you have an adapter) for your RV.    There is a shed on the lot but that is for personal use.

Our lot is right off Steven's Gap road on the way to the lake.  If you like to fish the lake is less than 2 miles down the road and the river access is close by at Beaver's Bend State Park.  The are is abundant with wild life with plenty to do and see.

Rancho Del Sol Ranch & Venue

was once a historic working ranch and vibrant
concert venue where country legends like Dolly Parton, George Strait, Merle Haggard, Tanya Tucker, and Willie Nelson played in the 70's and 80's. Now it is a working western performance horse barn where the owner trains and competes at the world championship level in reining and cutting.

Come stay with your van, camper or horse trailer and enjoy the sights, sounds, and facilities of a western performance horse barn. We have indoor arena; outdoor arenas and round pens, with 70 acres of pasture, and trails nearby to explore! Everyone is welcome! You certainly don't have to have horses to enjoy our ranch and the animals on it. Come see what it's like in rural Texas. Hang out in your camper, explore the ranch, watch us ride from the arena stands, or go hiking on the nearby trails. If you do have horses, this is a great opportunity to spend some time away from home or perhaps just provide a peaceful stop along the road. Come enjoy the mild Texas winters with us! Our property was once a working cattle ranch with a vibrant music venue where country legends like Dolly Parton, George Strait, Merle Haggard, Tanya Tucker, and Willie Nelson played in the 70's and 80's. We are now a performance horse barn for multiple western disciplines, including reining and cutting.
