Feel free to rent both spots for bigger groups. Turner Mill or Greer Park are the closest full restrooms, most camper bring their own, we're working on the extras to make it more comfortable. But if you're looking for a good spirit place to unwind, we are in the heart of the natural Ozarks! You can feel the mountains breathing and have so much pure energy fresh spring water all around us. 420 Friendly no problem with natural medicine here at the Ozark Hippie Camp., enjoy life and your time here! Creekside Farms on Sinkin’ Creek, near Echo Bluff State Park, is nestled in the beautiful foothills of the Ozark Mountains. Stay at our secluded campsite by the spring fed, crystal clear waters of Sinkin’ Creek. Creekside Farms is a working farm with cows, chickens, and produce gardens. Janet’s family settled here in 1908. The property is surrounded by the Mark Twain National Forest and near the Roger Pryor Pioneer Backcountry and the Sunklands. See nature at its best by visiting Round Springs, Pulltite Spring, Alley Spring and Mill, Blue Spring, Welch Spring, Devils Well and Rocky Falls. Do not forget the beautiful wild horses and stunning float trips! The most popular activity for visitors is taking a float trip down the Current River or Jack Fork's River in the National Scenic Riverways. These float trips can be taken by using canoes, kayaks, and/or rafts. Running River Canoe Rental is only a short tripaway.

You'll have a private place of your own, with access to some of Missouri states most hidden springs, rivers, waterfalls, fishing, hunting, hiking, (some of the best) horseback riding trails, and historic landmarks. Rather you're after solitude or sport, this area has you covered. Kayak, canoe, and shuttle rental, service is available at hufstedlers.com and is a short 11.5 mile drive. Beautiful eleven point river offers blue, red, and white ribbon, spring fed trout/walleye water. If you're looking to float the river, be sure to research the many springs on the way down your trip and the historic mill communities that once flourished there. These are perfect opportunities to take a break, eat a meal, and explore the area. Most also will have public bathrooms. Unless there are multiple reservations, you will be allowed to hookup/stay at whichever site is the easiest for you to get parked at. Maps of the area and things to do will continue to be updated as they are developed. In the mean time, a great resource is MissouriScenicRivers.com. Half way between Salem and Eminence, in the heart of the missouri ozarks is itzawayzback farm. . We are conveniently located near the upper current river and the ozark national scenic riverway where many come to float or paddle. In addition to the river, there are many other nearby things to see and do- Echo Bluff State park, Current River State Park, Montauk trout park, the wild horses of Shannon county, Alley Spring and Mill as well as other cave/rock/water attractions. Our location is also great for dark sky viewing. Horse back riding (rental) is also available nearby. The area is truly an outdoor lovers paradise.
The Dogwood cabin is a hand built, tiny cabin (204 sf) perched on the glades of Conway hollow. If you have ever wanted to experience tiny house living or life on a small homestead, this cabin is for you. This is a grid tied solar cabin with a single conventional outlet, poor or no cell phone coverage or tv's. There are, however, usb ports in the cabin for your gadgets but wifi access is weather permitting and much slower than in most places!
Everything but food and drink are provided for you! All linens, soaps, shampoos, dishes and utensils are provided. There is a small fridge, microwave and coffee pot in cabin as well as indoor bathroom/shower. There is a queen bed in the loft and full size day bed on main floor. Charcoal grill on deck with nearby fire pit /grill
A reasonable amount of charcoal and firewood, downfall is free and extra wood can be purchased for $10 an arm load. All you need to do is bring food and drink! Farm fresh eggs (seasonal) and breakfast basics (pancake mix, oatmeal, eggs) are provided Although, we are very rural there is a small convenience store/ canoe kayak rental 1.5 miles away.
Come enjoy all the beauty that the local area (Shannon county and the Ozark National Scenic Riverways has to offer then retreat to the cozy cabin and the quiet of the forest. we are MJ friendly Ask about use of outdoor kitchen or hot fresh breakfast options
