We are less than 15 minutes from Interstate 10 and from Interstate 65.
I offer a half-dozen campsites, all either on a relatively level paved driveway or grass. Power (20 amp and 30 amp) and water is available. We have two 30 amp campsites, which are first come, first served.

We have a portable toilet (portable-potty) for your use.
This is a Longleaf Pine sanctuary with lots of nature trails.
This is also a hobby farm with livestock (two Donkeys, two Goats and a flock of Chickens). I feed the livestock grain every morning usually between 8 and 9 am, and again hay before dusk. You are always welcome to join me and I'll introduce all of them to you!
My dog, Homer, is our very friendly welcoming ambassador who will enthusiastically great you upon your arrival. I put him up in his kennel each evening around dusk, then lock him in his shed until morning which keeps him from barking during the night.
We also host three AirBnBs, so other guests may be here as well.
Texting via the app is our preferred mode of communication. If you call, please leave a message if I can't answer, and I will call you back.
We are slowly updating the site photos. Use them only to determine your price, for example: A site with 30 amp power and water is $25 per night. A site with 20 amp power and water is $20 per night. A boondocking site (no power) is $15 per night. All sites have access to a porta-potty and water.

We are following food forest and permaculture methods instead of traditional gardening, and our long-term vision for this land is a new garden of Eden!

The first stay went so well, I chose Dave’s place again when driving through. I drove up to find a small bonfire with Dave and other campers gathered around. I was invited to join and we all shared for about 30 minutes. I slept in a little grove of trees under bright stars. Super convenient, sweet location.

There were several other campers but I didn’t even know they were there - the place is very quiet. Stayed for one night but will be back again when I’m close to Blakeley Park.

Dave & Caren are very welcoming and gracious hosts. We shared a couple of meals together which was a highlight of the stay.
Their place has multiple options for boondocking or for power and water hookup, loads of space and little walking trails with multiple fire pits that you can use with plenty of firewood around to burn.
Sunsets are great, with local shops only a 15min drive away for all essentials, groceries, propane refills, hardware store, bank or a 3min drive from the dollar store if needed. Very quiet with loads of trees.
The best part though is you don't have to leash or pen your pets if you're traveling with them. This makes the stay absolutely the best reason to stay especially if you've been in areas where you had too prior.
My water heater decided to stop and I was offered the use of their shower, again showing fantastic hospitality.

The location was very easy to get to and once you arrived you felt like you were very secluded.

I had the most incredible experience here on Austin and Wanda’s Christmas tree farm! I stayed on Christmas and they were so kind as to share leftover Christmas food with me. Thank goodness bc everything was closed. Their dog Moscato got along with my dog perfectly and tired him out playing after a long drive. They offered to put him up before I got there but I was happy to have the dogs play. They went far above and beyond my expectations and the site was nice and private. There was an outlet to charge my phone and a spot for a fire and wood although I didn’t build a fire. 10/10 would recommend. I’m glad I chose this spot. They were such a sweet, kind, and generous couple.

Overall, the experience was delightful. I was able to pull my little camper right next to the pond and enjoy the serene view over the landscape. I enjoyed fishing in the pond and caught multiple nice size bass and a catfish, and relaxing. My son enjoyed riding his bike on the path around the pond, playing on the playset, and feeding the alpacas. Had a great time, the host was excellent, and would definitely visit again.

We tent camped for 3 weeks in November and Dave was extremely accommodating for our 3 week stay in November. Don't skip the hot tub! For van lifer types this is an ideal location. Good cell reception and a quiet atmosphere. There were extremely few insects and the sunset over Mobile each night is a brilliant orange. We used the YMCA Express in Spanish Fort for showers, gym, infrared sauna, and as a coffeeshop. it has a table area with outlets for laptops. The day pass there is $10.

We arrived Friday & had a fun time till we left Sunday. The property, the pond, & Ms. Erica were great. Ms. Erica even helped us out with some extra sleeping bags when the night time temps dropped lower than expected. From fishing in the pond to seeing all the animals, our grand-kids enjoyed & learned a lot on the farm setting. We’ll certainly add it to our “let’s go back” list!
