Weekend Trip to HughsBarn

Everything went well. It’s a great spot on a country road. Hugh was a warm friendly kind helpful host. Shared everything on the property with us. Bathroom in the apartment was great, we had the water hook up. Highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Family Farm Forever

We loved camping in the pasture near a serene pond sheltered by rows of pine trees. Woke up to birds chirping in the pine woods. Danny set us up with electrical and dumping service. As well as access to water. It was a drive in for a quick one night stay as we traveled back to WI but would be worth it for a longer stay. Danny was very friendly-when we come back we will bring him some squeaky cheese curds!

Hugh is such a nice and helpfull man! And the spot is very quite and beautiful.

Great place to get some rest. Very nice and clean bathroom in the barn. The host was gracious enough to upgrade me to stay in the barn. Thanks! I will definitely stop here again the next time I’m passing through.

Nice flat spot to park your RV or Trailer! Large, nice yard that is much better than any campsite we have been in.

40 acres with two small streams. Mostly forest with some open land. Very quiet and isolated but only 1.8 miles west off MS HWY 25 which is a 4 lane HWY from Starkville to Jackson. We have 110, 30W and 50 W outlets at west end of barn. We have 15 or more campsites scattered around the barn. We have water at the side of the barn and a full bath in the barn. On the south side of the property which is 1/4 mile south of the barn, we have additional camping in a mostly forested area but no bathroom or water.
