We arrived Friday & had a fun time till we left Sunday. The property, the pond, & Ms. Erica were great. Ms. Erica even helped us out with some extra sleeping bags when the night time temps dropped lower than expected. From fishing in the pond to seeing all the animals, our grand-kids enjoyed & learned a lot on the farm setting. We’ll certainly add it to our “let’s go back” list!

Great stay near downtown New Orleans. Simple instructions, gated and safe feeling. Nearby gas station. Near train tracks, but not too bad.
Brijesh was very welcoming and made the stay easy.

It has several sites that are good size to the right as you go in. Sign says park yourself and let them know which site. There are 5 sites to the left that are tight. As no one was there we parked in one of those sites. Gravel site was very unlevel but electric, water and sewer worked well. Was quiet where we were. Note: last site does not have sewer.

We absolutely enjoyed our time in the bayou at the Glockner's place!!! The sunsets were amazing. Fishing and crabbing was a lot of fun. Thanks Ron and Amy for your wonderful hospitality. We'll be back. Thank you 😊

What a great place to fish and relax. It was a clear sky and you could see the stars like you can't I'm the city. Deborah is accommodating and a gracious hostice.

It was lovely. I was worried aboot lack of peace because it was near 2 highways, but it was super peaceful. Didn’t hear any vehicles. I saw deer and squirrels several times the few nights I stayed. There was plenty of space to walk around and explore. I loved that my dogs were able to be free once we were on trails away from others. The host was great, very helpful and kind. It’s a very safe place. They love their community, (something similar to what I’ve been aligning with- soul tribe eco-village). I really did love and appreciate the 5 mile speed limit, even if I had to keep remembering it.
The slimy/residue feeling on my skin from the shower/sink I assume is soft water and would take some getting used to. All was great.

Magic River was a quaint and quiet campground where we spent a week enjoying our waterfront campsite. They have great water pressure in the camp shower and the staff is very responsive to any needs. Very pretty campsite! ❤️🏕

Debbie was the most kind and over-the-top accommodating host I’ve ever met. She spoiled me and my two girls! She fed us dinner and gave the girls treats. In the morning she gave the girls hot chocolate, toys and beads to play with. Her property was fun… being right on the bayou! She even had kayaks for us to use. She set chairs out for us to use to watch the bats at sunset. An absolutely amazing time was had!

Very very sweet owners who were helpful and accommodating! Location is close to downtown Nola, and we felt very safe sleeping overnight and leaving our vehicle there during the day while we explored the city. Very much appreciated that it was gated! Highly recommend : )

I wss unable to stay due o seasonal mosquito invasion. An unfortunate event my host could not control. Understand understanding my situation. I was refunded immediately and moved right on down the road to my next destination. I will return to this site in the fall or spring when the weather is a little more conducive to non-mosquitoes. Thank you for your consideration. You did an awesome job developing your site. I look forward to visiting you again.
