The Hideaway

The Hideaway is a unique off-grid campsite on the Kansas prairie in a copse of trees. You can enjoy the beauty of nature and the comforts of home. Inside this beautiful Lotus Belle tent there is a cozy queen size bed, a dinette equipped with place-settings for 2, a sitting area and a wood burning stove. Outside the tent you'll enjoy our kitchen with a smoker/grill and gas stove, dining area and fire pit. The eco-friendly bathhouse has shower, sink and  composting toilet.

We are a 400 plus acre working family ranch raising crossbred Angus and registered Texas Longhorns. We offer homegrown steaks and hamburger for purchase during your stay.  I also grow vegetables in containers to sale at the ranch or at farmers markets.  We have three ponds for fishing, lots of wildlife including nesting baldeagles.   Bring sturdy inclosed shoes for hiking.   Bring your canine friend, they will have a vacation of a lifetime.  Pawhuska is only 13 miles away, if you want to let someone else cook your dinner. You are close to the event center which has a outdoor entrance to bathroom and shower facilities located adjacent of the red brick outdoor pizza oven seen on the right hand side of the event center.  Event center has a commercial kitchen, restroom & diningroom
