With kids
Found some trees perfect for a hammock, hiked down the rock trail, made a campfire cake, had camp coffee and enjoyed the scenery. It was my kind of party. Camper was in good shape, smelled and looked clean. Having a flushable toilet, a queen size bed to sleep in, and the option to use the stove were all very convenient (especially with a 4 year old). Great place for the price, I enjoyed the atmosphere and it was peaceful and fun. Host was responsive.

2 nights at Peoria Hills
We had a great time here. Beautiful land and cozy cabin. Very comfortable and great kitchen set up with induction stove and convection countertop oven. Everything was very clean and well stocked with everything from board games to laundry soap. The hosts John and Ginny are nice and welcoming. We will definitely come back when we can stay longer.

Weekend Trip to Biker’s Haven: Cozy Tiny Home
Overall, it is a wonderful spot! Has everything you need for a great weekend away. We did have a few details we wish we knew beforehand that wasn’t provided in the description. I wouldn’t still highly recommend the spot despite the missing information, which I’m sure will be updated.
It says secluded but it’s about 10 feet from their house and the neighbors. It didn’t affect our stay but I wouldn’t really call it secluded. When I think of the word secluded I think that it is a very large lot and the stay space is far away from the house and not able to be seen just by looking out the back window. In addition, we did not know they had a dog they would be letting out 10 feet from our stay with no warning. Since it says off leash, that would be really good information to have when bringing a dog of our own. While our dogs are friendly, suddenly having another dog run up into the space was quite a shock and could have caused issues.
It has since been updated, but originally the listing said “pets allowed” and when we arrived with 2 dogs they informed us they only allow one and would have to charge us for the extra dog.
All of that being said, it is still a beautiful place and would stay again, just wish we had that additional information beforehand.
