Lewis’ site was a gem. Loved the privacy and the stream near by was the highlight. He was able to get us firewood that was ready before we arrived and it lasted us our whole stay. Great memories made with me and my 3 boys (and the dog!).

Camp site is perfect if you’re looking for a trip to Petit Jean! Owners Mr. Ed and Jenny were extremely sweet and helpful with directions on how to get there. Would recommend you camp Friday night to experience the farmers market on Saturdays.

Weekend Trip to Tranquility on the Arkansas River

I enjoyed my 1st Hipcamp experience here. I wanted to camp somewhere else, besides the usual locations & here wasn’t but about another 15 minute drive. The scenery was beautiful & being able to use Jason’s deck, chairs, ect was relaxing. Price is comparable to staying at a state park or Corps of Engineers also. The privacy I had was worth the few $ more. Will definitely camp here again soon.

The area was quiet and had a beautiful view. It was short walk to the water which was very pretty to view and the covered picnic table was nice to be able to relax at while watching the sun set. Lewis was quick to respond to my questions and ensured the area was prepared for my stay.

Rv Campground overall was great with plenty of room & was secluded. With it being a new park the ground was still very soft. Tick & fleas were a major problem that probably should be addressed for future adventures within the campground area anyways. We would stay again & the owners we’re were very accommodating.

Great secluded campground with access to the mountain trails and the lake. If you have a big rig make sure you come from highway 21. We have a 65ft rig and made it no problem. We had a tornado warning during our week and half stay here and the host offered to let us get in his safe room if the need came. Great cam and a great host!!

Absolutely loved our stay at this camping spot in Redlick, Arkansas. Full hookups made things easy, and the owners went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed—they were genuinely welcoming and accommodating. The grounds are pristine, quiet, and tucked away enough to feel secluded, yet close enough to easily access local trails and waterfalls. Honestly, I debated whether to even write this review because this place is a true hidden gem. Big thanks to the owners for a great experience—can’t wait to come back.

Such a cool place to stay while traveling through. The river view is just what we needed on the journey. There’s plenty of room to pull in, get comfy and relax. Camp host is friendly and helpful, more than accommodating. We would definitely stay here again 😊

Great spot for tent camping. Beautiful creek. Large grassy area in the holler. You can walk down creek to Mulberry river. Lots of stuff to do in the area. Motorcycle dream drive. Bring canoes and kayaks. Check out high bank falls and mulberry access points. Bunch of trails to hike. Oark is cool.

Weekend Trip to Pinnacle Springs Recreational Park

I got to pick a tent site that suited my needs when I arrived, which made the 2-day stay all that more comfortable. John is an affable host, and a wonderful, conscientious steward of the land he shares with the public. I enjoyed the time he took to chat with me and entice me to paddle down the creek. My dog and I had a very successful first time experience in the water and it was easier than I thought and sensuous way to spend a half day in nature. 10 Stars

Weekend Trip to Tranquility on the Arkansas River

Jason's place and his hospitality were great. We arrived after a long work week and his brief greeting and lay of the land were very helpful and informative. The site has everything you need to enjoy a peaceful day right next to the Arkansas River. Watching the barges go by was a really cool perk too. I would highly recommend this stay for anyone.

We enjoyed our stay at Red Lick. The campsites are spacious and surrounded by woods. It’s very quiet and clean. We met the owner he was friendly and wanted to make sure everything was good.

First, Pam was great. She was very helpful with any questions or anything we had. Responded quickly to emails. The spot was conveniently located with everything we needed. We had a big group, and the fire pit was perfect for us in the evenings.

Beautiful little farm right next to petite Jean state park with hikes and viewpoints right down the road. Showers and bathroom were clean and the farm market area had some goodies even though we were off season.

1 night at Adventure RV on Lake Atkins

The sites are under trees, so if it storms expect the limbs to fall somewhat. There isn't a lot of gravel on the sites so it is a little muddy. The person from the booking is not the person who is the host camper. You will be given a number on the booking but they will all from another number and then you have to call another number to reach the host.

Petit Jean Farm Orchard

You'll have a backdrop of woods and grazing sheep, with the Petit Jean Farmer's Market barn -- offering locally sourced produce, cheese (some made on the premises), baked goods, honey, preserves, meat, and crafts -- only steps away. The market operates on Saturdays, when hot lunches are often served, but it is open on a self-serve basis the rest of the week. Petit Jean State State Park is a very short drive, with spectacular hiking trails, a CCC-built lodge and restaurant, and a lake. Campers are welcome to use the fire pit, grill, and trampoline, and they have access to the half-bath in the barn. Birds are plentiful along the river and you are sure to enjoy the concert that they have prepared specially for you. There's no need to drive too far from Little Rock – in fact, you can find a great campsite just across the Arkansas River from P. Allen Smith's famous Moss Mountain farm. This spot is teeming with wildlife, and you may even be able to catch some fish or watch Eagles soar. Stargazing is strongly encouraged here – under a dark sky, the stars appear big and bright. Please enjoy your stay and help us keep it that way. No parties and no unsupervised minors. We are in the country and there are no fences. You may be greeted by neighborhood dogs. We have never experienced any aggression and most of them are happy to get pet by our guests. If they are bothering you, simply provide a stern, "go home" and they usually will leave you be. On the other hand if you pet and feed them they will be your new best friend. We host on Hipcamp because we love the outdoors. We love traveling across the country, exploring, and experiencing new things. We are fortunate enough to have found our slice of heaven and we're so excited to share it with other travelers from near and far. It often becomes an opportunity to hang out with like minded people and make new friends.
