The house utilizes a composting toilet and greywater systems, emphasizing sustainability. We designed this as a place to unplug, so don't have WiFi, a microwave or a TV. The water is set to HOT, and we have it set there because the hot water heater is a travel trailer size, so it only puts out a small amount of hot water. Please don't burn your hands washing them! Also feel free to turn it down if you need to, it is right under the kitchen sink. We recommend expecting a quick shower or turning the water off and on to soak your hair if you need to wash it and then lathering up. If the house is smelling bad in the bathroom, that is not normal and we will come and fix it.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. This bus at one time was the River Bound Express at River Ranch Resort hauling hundreds of people to the river. Since then we have fully renovated this 35’ bus which has all the comforts of home including bedding, heat and A/C, indoor shower, and all the extras needed to enjoy a stay in Noel, MO. It sits in a secluded patch of woods complete with a nice deck and fire pit. just 3-5 minutes from the beautiful Elk River. The space The Elk River Blue Bird sits in the middle of 40 acres of beautiful woods and deep ravines. Your nearest neighbor is our other listing of a two-person cabin approximately 50 yards away. You should feel very private and secluded, however. Guest access Guests are welcome to hike and explore our property so long as they are respectful of the owner’s and other guest’s personal space. We are only a couple miles from the beautiful Elk River where many come to canoe, raft and kayak every year! We recommend the premier outfitter River Ranch Resort if you choose to book a float trip! Other great features in our immediate vicinity is Bluff Dweller Cave and our local 9 hole golf course Elk River Country Club. Other things to note Our black lab, Dog-dog is very excited to make new friends. He is harmless but if he gets to be a nuisance just toss some water on him. He hates that :) We do not allow any pets on the property other than our own.

Weekend Trip to Sunset Mountain

We reserved 2 nights in the Jesus Bus and absolutely LOVED our stay! Right when we pulled up, the friendly camp hosts greeted us to make sure we knew what we needed to have a great time. The sunset views over the mountain was gorgeous, and the other folks on the campground were an absolute delight. I especially loved the amenities like power and water inside the bus, and a nice clean flush toilet and shower just outside. The pool was still open and was very refreshing! I can't recommend this place enough. It's soothed my soul and got me ready for another week of work. Check them out! You won't regret it.

First time experiencing a working nudist farm. I wasn’t sure what I was getting into but James and his wife were awesome hosts and I felt immediately at ease. The property is beautiful with scenic views and the Jesus Bus was clean and spacious. You can’t beat dipping in the pool after a hike or relaxing in the hot tub or smaller dipping pool. Highly recommend for a quiet and relaxing getaway while reconnecting with nature in the nude! It was so cathartic and liberating.

1 night at Sunset Mountain

James and Amy are great hosts! We stayed on a Sunday night and we were the only ones there, except for James and Amy. They hung out with us around the fire pit and made sure everything was perfect for us! Everything was very clean and accommodating! James was cleaning the pool when we arrived, and made sure the hot tub was clean for us. We had a great time and will definitely be back multiple times! It was our first visit and we plan on buying a season pass! HIGHLY recommend!

Weekend Trip to Secluded Airstream Retreat

We enjoyed our stay on Hally’s family farm. The airstream is really cute. The hot tub is a good touch and the covered deck was great during a storm while also providing shade in the sun. The bed was and comfy and we had pretty much everything we needed. There were a couple hiccups but Hally was very responsive. The airstream is located about 30 minutes to Branson and we enjoyed going to table rock lake to swim.

Halley really has something special here. We were really impressed by the entire property; it was hilly, forested, covered in wildflowers, and overall just beautiful. The airstream itself was very well organized and decorated, we felt so cozy the entire weekend, especially since there was so much rain! The view from the trailer was amazing, we were treated to cows grazing and calves playing throughout our stay. I cannot recommend this place enough. The hosts were communicative, the bed was comfy and who doesn't love an evening hot tub session. Easily a 5 star stay. We will be back!

We had such a great experience at the Rt. 62 campground. We stayed in the Bungalow cabin with our dogs. The grounds were lovely with a lot of different activities. The jacuzzi tub was a fun addition. The hosts were very easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay there again!

Sunset Mtn is growing! Each time I visit, the experience improves exponentially . That’s because James and his wife work tirelessly to make this place incredible for its guests. Breath-taking views, a safe clothing-optional/nudist environment, top notch ways to relax and take it all in! Buying a membership is the most cost-effective way to go, but if you’re just passing through the day rate is extremely fair for what you get. Look forward to friendly faces, a hot tub, trails to explore and great spots to book for an overnight stay….Above all, you get to do it all NUDE! I’ll be returning very soon!

4 nights at Secluded Airstream Retreat

What an awesome Hipcamp stay! The Airstream was clean and stocked with all the essentials, even quality toilet paper! We loved getting to have our doggo with us and appreciated the hot tub after longs days of hiking at Hercules Glades Wilderness. We ordered ribeyes from the ranch and highly recommend. Our city kids got to have a great ranch experience and we are happy they got to see how hard the ranch hands work to care for the animals. The ranch dogs were a major plus! We biked around the property during down time and the views were spectacular. This is a very quiet and secluded stay, but close to hiking, stream walking, bike parks and small town restaurants which was exactly what we wanted. We would stay here again any time we are planning to be in this part of the state!
