From the honeymooner to the architecture lover, The Boathouse is the premier accommodation in Creede. The Boathouse has intricate, custom woodworking, hand hewn from locally sourced wood. Each detail is woven together to honor traditional Norwegian Stave churches and the architectural vernacular of Creede. Featuring a sitting area on the first floor, the bedroom and bathroom on the second floor look south towards Snowshoe Mountain. Guests can relax in the spacious clawfoot bathtub (no shower) and enjoy the clean, simple romance of architecture at its finest. Due to the delicate woodwork, we only allow adults (18 and over) to stay in the Boathouse.

I can not say enough good things about Windsock Ares, and the beautiful little town Creed. When I arrived Linnaea was there to greet me and show me around. She also introduced me to Cat and her two boys Teddy and James that also live on the property and share the outdoor common space. Very friendly and welcoming family.
After you explore the beautiful mountains that surround the town, there are also lots of super little shops and restaurants to stop in and get some lunch or dinner, that are just a block away...if that and if you ever need suggestions or help with anything Linnaea was available and happy to help. I would defiantly recommend this place, for a nice little getaway.
