This was a great experience as staying in a tipi was on the bucket list. The property itself was quiet yet close to fun local things like wineries and dinner with live music etc. Stacy was a great hostess and I would like to come back with the kids as this was a kidless trip.
Beautiful place, clean. Had a great time other than we had the hawk and it was so far from the Porta potties and parking we weren't prepared for that, it took 5 trips from parking lot to tipi with a heavy metal cart stuffed with all our stuff. We were exhausted by the time we got everything to the tipi! And the bathroom trip in the middle of the night wakes you completely up from the 213 steps to the Porta potty. So if they were to move the Porta potties and at least let you drive your vehicle to unload and load I would definitely come again. The owner is very nice.
Very peaceful and relaxing
Stacy was a wonderful host and her property is incredible. Very relaxing and having a communal kitchen, compost toilets, and solar showers were great amenities. I would love to revisit this Tipi Haven in the future.
It was our 4th time visiting the Hawk tipi. As always, a fantastic experience! Stacy personally came down to make sure we had everything we needed and that our stay was enjoyable. The site is always wonderful! Seeing the Milky Way Galaxy right outside of the tipi while making smores is my favorite! Highly recommend this site to everyone that would like a unique camping experience at a quality site.
Wonderful weekend in hawk tipi
My friends and I stayed here for two nights and it couldn’t have been a better stay! Not only was Stacy so welcoming and kind, but the tipi itself was cozy, spacious, and in a great location. It was so nice to have the kitchen, bathrooms, and showers close by, and the view of the mountains from the spot was spectacular. I have no complaints about this place, and I highly recommend it!
