Land's End Dome @ 105 West Ranch

This campsite sits at an elevation of nearly 10,000ft, making it one of the highest Hipcamp sites in the World! The site sits on 100 acres of private, pristine Colorado mountain land that offers over 3 miles of private hiking trails and unrivaled views in all directions. To the North is Americas Mountain- the monstrous 14,115 Pikes Peak. Expansive views from the tent to the South overlook Beaver Creek Canyon and the Arkansas river valley, which sits nearly 5,000ft below the property allowing you to easily see 100+ miles into the horizon. Take a stroll through a lush aspen grove with towering aspen trees, hike through a pine forest ravine or relax in a sunny meadow - this campsite has it all. 

The campsite is very private yet accessible to many amenities and activities. Its a 15 minute drive to Victor, or 25 minutes to Cripple Creek where many tourist attractions await. Mining tours, gold panning, gaming and gambling, restaurants, railroad tours and more! Drive, bike or hike just a few miles down the road to Skagway reservoir to enjoy excellent trout fishing. There is a hiking trailhead near the dam at Skagway that follows the river into Beaver Creek canyon with tons of beautiful granite formations- fish, hike or climb in this incredible area.

The Ranch is completely off the grid, without water or electricity. Because of the remote location, we operate this as “self service”. This means no cleaning fees, however, guests are required to bring their own bedding and drinking water. Additionally, guests will need to clean the rental and remove their trash before checking out.

Because were in bear country, We do not provide a grill or stove to cook with. You will need to bring your own camping grill and/or stove.

We do not allow wood burning camp fires. However, we do provide a propane fire pit that you can use if youd like to have a fire. Note that if youd like to use the propane fire pit, youll need to bring your own propane. The fire pit runs off a 20lb propane bottle (the same bottle that connects to home BBQ grills).

The Dome sleeps 2 people in a queen size bed. Additional guests will either need to sleep on the floor of the dome or bring their own tents to sleep outside near the dome.
