Beautiful spot to watch sunrises and sunsets. Great for star gazing too. Bar is located in a small quiet town named Crystal, NV. The closest town for gas and food is Pahrump which is about 20 minutes away. My place is perfect if you want to get away from the city for a little bit, or if you are traveling the country in your RV, trailer, or tent. My place is very unique if you are looking for a different place to stay other than an RV park. Good vibes only. :) Learn more about this land: I am located one hour away from Death Valley National Park and twenty minutes from Ash Meadows Wildlife Refuge and Devil's Hole. And an hour to Las Vegas and Pahrump about twenty minutes away.  Google Maps and GPS will sometimes get you lost. Please message me for better directions after booking.

Tarantula Ranch is located in the Mojave Desert surrounded by BLM land and nearby Death Valley National Park. One of the first vineyards in Nevada, we grow 5 varietals of grapes and make wine on-site. We offer guests camping, glamping, and an RV site. Camping and Glamping sites are located next to the vines and include picnic tables, shared bathhouse with toilets and shower, outdoor kitchen (bbq, gas cooktop). We also have a community area "The Wine Hall" with ping-pong, shuffleboard, refrigerator, and microwave. Outside our gates, enjoy biking, hiking, scrambling, and exploring the Amargosa Desert and nearby Skeleton Hills. Nearby attractions include Ash Meadows Wildlife Refuge (30-minutes) and Death Valley National Park (45-minutes). We have spent a lot of time in the park and are happy to answer questions, make suggestions, or even take you on a tour.

Learn more about this land: This is a groovy little spot where the power lines meet. Located a block away from Treasure RV Park on Highway 160 just north of Pahrump, NV. You can visit Treasures just across the streetMark’s restaurant AAA+ food, gambling, and the bowling alley right across the street, and still return easily to this private lot. Treasures is a great little oasis to visit, and a short walk back to camp and have more privacy then staying directly on treasures site and avoiding vehicle age requirements.There are cactus ,sage, river rock and an old desert tortoise you might spot named Mort on the property. It’s a small plot of land but it will fit up to you a 45 foot bus or a truck and longer trailer. I have parked my 40’ school bus conversion there from time to time.the property is right outside of Pahrump in a convenient location with beautiful Mountain View’s. Treasures RV park is right across the street and makes for a perfect desert oasis near death Valley.

Located on a corner lot, you will have access to the main gravel paved streets, along with plenty of space to park and set up shop. This land is surrounded by beautiful mountains and very peaceful. Though you will feel away from the city, you are less than 15 minute ride from various restaurants, museums & groceries stores and even a Home Depot for those unexpected things. Have the ability to rest in a calm environment with the peace of mind that anything you need is minutes away. There are very few surrounding neighbors.

Central Location with Drinking Water and Bathrooms This is a good central spot for getting to Badwater Basin and Zabriske Point and similar spots easily. No hookups but plenty of access points for drinking water. Bathrooms were clean. Spots are pretty close together so don’t expect much privacy here. Surrounding rocks and view were pretty during sunrise and sunset. As it’s Death Valley, roaming only cell signal. The Ranch (5-10 min drive) has ample parking and Paid Wi-Fi if needed.

If the goal is getting up and out to explore Death Valley NP this campground is well worth it. A bit stacked on top of one another but still super central and near a store... which you’ll find useful being that you’ll drive for hours without passing one. Just get out and explore. If you’re just planning to stay at the campsite then it might not be the one for you.

This is a beautiful sprawling ground central to everything. The location in the park is certainly ideal. The magic of this campground comes alive when you explore it’s surrounding ridges and nooks. Every time of day offers a unique feel with lighting hitting things differently all the time. Cool at night to be expected. Super easy access and has a store / place to eat a five minute drive away. It’s a great place to pop off from for day trips around Death Valley.

Awesome place. 98 degrees at 2 am in April. Take loads of water with you. No showers.

Fantastic gem of a campground. Being in such a hot place, it's imperative to find a site that will give you ample shade throughout the day. There are a few with some good trees but I would say the best is site #26. Quite possibly the best tree coverage in the whole campground.

This was another big parking lot-like campground. It is surrounded by some pretty spectacular desert scenery and was a great place to view the night sky.

Texas Spring is my favorite campground in Death Valley. It is located among the hills and badlands where you can feel that you are actually camping in Death Valley. Clean bathrooms and drinking water available. In the morning, you can climb up the hills right out of your tent welcome the sunrise. This is a seasonal campground so make sure it is open before you plan staying there.

We went into Death Valley without reserving a campsite. Our first stop was to check Texas Springs and there were plenty of available spots with a general store right across the street. A few campsites were shaded, but most were exposed to the sun.
